An update from a few weeks ago, installed the keypad, pretty much according to the posted plan. The only change I'd offer (or maybe I missed it) is when dropping the wire down, keep it close to the outside of the door. I initially out mine in toward the inside and has problems with the window...
So I ordered the keypad Ford said matched my VIN, the RL3Z-14A626-AA, it's being returned at Ford's expense, the connector is wrong. I'm going order what I should have, the FL3Z-14A626-AH that everyone has installed successfully. Should have listened to other owners not Ford. Interesting the...
After you installed the keypad, and updated FORScan, did your Sync screen present the factory code or request it? Or asked another way, at what point is the factory code needed?
Thx, this is the best step of steps I've seen, but tried it again this AM with same negative results. Since the key...
That's tough for the money we pay for those trucks, I think the electronics is getting beyond the dealers. Mechanics and software are different skill sets, I hope Ford is getting the right technicians. I've got a 2025 with 2K miles and the dealer can't give me an accurate story on the keypad...
I want to add the keypad to my 2025 Lariat, BUT my BCM module does not list the Factory Code, the label space for key code is blank, and using 2 keys in cupholder does not render a factory code. Is it possible my truck does not have a factory code assigned to it?
Thx, the same partsDD219 used and they work, guess I should stop second guessing it. Otgher thing tho is the prices I get at FordParts.com are quite a bit more than what you posted, I've noticed that with some other postings.
Like others I find Ford Parts says fl3z14a626ah does not fit my 2025 Lariat, the correct part is rl3z14a626aa. Has anyone used this rl3z part or any other than what DD219 originally posted?
Thanks!
