I had the exact same issue on my '21 KR. After reading the manual. I realized it is not advisable to run 4 Hi on dry roads. They acknowledge that it might result in a clunking noise.
At least give us the option to roll the revision back if we want to! Yes, the slide to start is nice, but not worth losing everything else like the trailer light test among many other things. The enemy of good enough is better!
Yes, on level ground, but my passenger side is 1/4" higher than the drivers side. I also have a left rear tire wearing much worse than the others, so I'm wondering if there is something with the suspension associated with the tire wear. Not sure if I should level the bed with a little additional...
I was contemplating upgrading to a Bilstein rear shock and thought I would see if I would go with the 1" or 2" lifted versions when my Airlift system is filled with air for towing my boat, but not loaded. So, I started out measuring the wheel well heights at various pressures. To my surprise the...
I decided to do what the TSB suggested, but figured I could do it better than the average service person or at least as good. I happened to have some 1 inch wide hushmat quiet tape that I cut in half. Using plastic trim tools and a thin metal ruler to separate the extruded seal from the channel...
It saved my butt one morning after I parked my boat in the driveway back-up area the day before. I opened the garage door, backed out forgetting the boat was back there and it stopped me short of hitting my boat! I actually thought I did hit it based on the sudden stop. Then I realized there...
My drivers side has the same issue, so I just use the lock button on the door before I close it. That being said my buddy recently enlightened me that you can also hit the two lowest buttons on the door keypad to lock the doors. That comes in handy if you already have closed the drivers door.
Just received the OTA Ford Power-Up 3.5.3 and the notice of the upcoming Alexa Built-in roll-out. It sounds like a winner if it can do all that it says such as: Make a call, check the weather, interact with your smart-home devices and anything you can do with the home version. I'm not big on...
I'm going on a long road trip to Montana and South Dakota so I brought my truck in to get the Blue Cruise update. Happy to say that my dealer in Scottsdale, Chapman Ford, updated my 2021 KR with BC on the first try. I dropped it off Monday afternoon and picked it up Thursday afternoon after they...
I've had my truck for 14 months now and after reading about this issue decided to look at my blades. After all of this time the drivers side had two keys sitting there in the recess and none on the passenger side. I decided to RTV them in place for now which was less than a five minute task...
Maybe try driving with a pair of noise cancelling head phones? They might shut out the frequency that bothers you while still allowing voices to come thru. Even a pair of active shooting headphones might work and are less expensive than the airplane type.
When I have the Pandora app playing on my android phone over BT and I skip a song or give a thumbs down, I have to turn the audio power off and then on again to hear the next song playing! It's something relatively new, but it's making me crazy!
4A will also cost you at least 1 MPG. Use 2H unless you are in slippery conditions. I averaged 10MPG with a 6K lb boat/trailer in tow over 1700 miles, but not babying it at all. I thought that was reasonable. And I dropped it into 9th gear to improve response and reduce the occasional rumble...
