Yes you can lock your key fob in the truck with the stick on option

I would try popping the door panel off and checking if you have that wire connector there. Most likely they don’t want to do it.

No, 5/6 button does not open the power up/power down tailgate. However I believe the trucks that don’t have power up are able to use the 5/6 button. From what I’ve seen, there isn’t a setting to change that.

I was able to add a new code through the radio settings. At first the settings did not show up, but restarting the truck solved that issue

There’s a way to retrofit the keypad on the door. I started a thread with instructions if you’re interested. I believe they made the rear bumper smaller so that you can step into the bed easier using the pro access tailgate

I believe there’s a company called 4DTech who sells the auto start/stop eliminator. Haven’t installed it yet but it’s on my list

I’d suggest plugging the keypad into the door panel and programming it on forscan first. After that it should have no problems displaying the factory code.
