I dont know what it is but is sure as hell annoying, I assume it is the electric motor or generator. Almost as annoying as the backup beeping.

I had to take mine to shop and they reprogramed the camera's.

Just took road trip 400 miles, ave 17.7 mpg, 75-80 mph return trip 20.1 @ 70-75 mph 90% interstate. 75 mph posted speed.

I got a Powerboost and I will not spend all day trying to trick the truck into getting better MPG. I get 17 mpg average at best...

My truck hates driving over 70, 18 mpg at best and thats if the road is flat or slightly downhill.

I just now rolled up to 1000 miles, It is averaging 16-17 combined city hwy. The best I could coax out of it was 20 driving 70. Anything over 75 started dropping. Now if I could just keep it out of the shop and get the wind noise to stop I would say I love it.

So the generator on the truck would run the entire trailer?

I guess Mine is broken is all I have to say on this. It is subpar compared to the BOSE system in my Sierra 1500.

I am thinking if mine fails, I will take it to dealership and let them deal with it.

I am 60, I drove around yesterday with it @ 30 listening to some of my favs, it was NOT painful in the least. Normal with wife beside me is 10-14, with us being able to talk.
