I just now rolled up to 1000 miles, It is averaging 16-17 combined city hwy. The best I could coax out of it was 20 driving 70. Anything over 75 started dropping.
Now if I could just keep it out of the shop and get the wind noise to stop I would say I love it.
I am 60, I drove around yesterday with it @ 30 listening to some of my favs, it was NOT painful in the least. Normal with wife beside me is 10-14, with us being able to talk.
I too had a C-7, 3 Denali's w/ 6.2 and a C-6 Zo6, I will admit the powerboost is fast to 70, but at a 70 punch side by side the 6.2 would win. BTW I have never once put any of my GM vehicles in the shop for anything. My Ford is going in the shop with 600 miles for excessive wind noise.
I really do like the truck. I paid almost MSRP so resale it and I will loose $$$$. That being said, I can live with the fuel economy, the stereo, but the windnoise is something I cannot tolerate on a near 80k truck. It is very comfy as well.
