The wet belt in the 5.0 is Kevlar and what Indy race cars use. I doubt it’s going to have issues unless you beat the crap outta it like an Indy motor. Almost impossible.

Were the tips crooked? One sticks out further than the other on my 24. From the factory. Shake my head.

lol it will not be retaining it. Cheaper to take it off vs it possibly getting damaged from good ole Michigan roads.

Hmmm yeah I was nervous about having squat because with my 22 max tow. It sits level with very minor rake still on my 6500lb camper. My trucks leveled though. im planning on leveling my 24 which is why im thinking I may need that third leaf spring?

Does the max tow with the 7100lb gvwr mean higher payload? Its higher than my 22 screw with max tow.

Found a couple I want with 5.0 3.73 and max tow again. 302a. Looks like I’ll have to sacrifice my b&o for towing. I tow a 6,500lb camper several times a year.

Can someone tell me if the tow haul package has the third leaf spring? I currently have a 22 screw with max tow but I see the 24s now have the option of the 3.73 gears on the 5.0 without max tow. If not does the fx4 have 3 leafs? basically wondering because max tow seems to be a rarity these...

I have 305/70 17s. I’m going to 285/75 next so I don’t have such extreme width on my 0 offset wheels. I know it’s only about a half inch difference but maybe I won’t rub at all next time.

Impossible for the amount of idling these modern engines due. The oil would go that long without fuel dilution.

yeah the only thing I would do would be the ras kits or airbags if necessary.
