2019 M2 Competition. Was my sunshine car, but turned into my daily driver the last few months. A blast to drive, but not great shuttling kids around! speaking of whom, my youngest dubbed the truck the Stealth 150, since it has a bit of the stealth bomber color going on.

Brought one home today. 402a, lead foot, torsen. Ordered 8/20, got x-plan pricing, unloaded a 2016 Tacoma. This truck is big by comparison, I’m used to stepping right out of the truck on the ground. Gotta use the running board! Fits in the carhole, though only about 6” of length to spare.

Some good sleuthing tips right here, thanks! I looked at ~15 trucks both at the dealer I went with and the larger one up the road. Most were in the 12-20 days (Houston area, though in Galveston County), though there was an outlier I saw in the 30 day range. Gives me a bit of optimism, though...

Does anyone have data to show the time from build date to delivery in the last few weeks? I'm hoping I can have the truck before Dec 1, and I have a Nov 6 build date.

8/20 order, status says in production and an 11/6 production date. No dealer ETA yet, nor a window sticker as of today. 402A with torsen, Lead Foot.

any trouble removing it?

My 8/20 order is scheduled for 11/1 thus far. It was unscheduled clean until ~9/17, when I got a VIN and the 11/1 date, and I checked it again yesterday. Order is the 402A, Torsen, and B&O Unleashed, Lead Foot. Hoping it keeps that schedule, I’d like to have it in hand for some December trips.
