This kind of thing happens to me regularly. Android Auto doesn't connect. Happens with the Honda Civic too. Usually after restarting the phone and car a few times it will work again, though sometimes we end up having to forget and reconnect.
It's turning me into a grumpy old man who can't...
To me, the dumbest thing is coming to a stop when parking, the engine shuts off, then when you shift to park it starts back up again. Why on earth.... I don't get it.
Interestingly, if you can remember when it shus off, just hit power off and the shifter moves itself automagically to park...
I have the same truck, bone stock. The blind spot camera display turns on automatically when the turn signal is on, and in tow/haul mode. Not sure if there is a setting for it or not.
I got my 2024 in November and after reading up and discussing with local auto enthusiasts I decided to do the fluid film. Had it done by a local shop outside Kitcher ON. Seemed to hold up well over winter even with using the automatic car wash every other week. There definitely is a barn type...
When my kids were small I had a 2001 Windstar for many years. I never changed the brake fluid even when doing brakes. I would just push the cylinders back and leave it. Then one day towing my tent trailer, I lost almost all braking power while going downhill with cars in front of me.That was a...
I don't "believe" in 0% financing. You still pay with a higher starting price than they'd give you for a cash deal.
In 2001 I bought a brand new Windstar as a "wholesale lease" at 7% and paid less overall than I would have with the 0% promotion at the time. It's all games.
You have to evaluate...

This is my exact choice as well, with 5.0 and 3.73.
Love the crew cab for extra interior space for guitars and groceries etc. I do often wish I had heated steering wheel here in winter. Occasional pangs of 4A envy...
I also complained about this ridiculous error. What an example of simple math that nobody even remotely checked before dumping software to thousands of trucks. Further, no doubt this is now a known problem but an update will happen... when???
Lame.
Haha - Actually yes... Mechanical Engineer, machine design, custom factory automation for 20+ years. I agree with your sentiment about everything having a reason. But I guess I don't include all reasons as logical.
If you are going to argue the complexity thing then why do these trucks have so...
Kinda dumb that this electric motorized folding shifter is always included, but it's like $1000 to get a hinge and extra plastic bits for the "work surface". There is no logical reason for this, only marketing reasons to upsell a package. They should include the folding lever only with the work...
