Our first trip starts on the 16th out to Brighton. I think we are screwed even if we get the truck in the next week and looking at options to borrow. We have also been holding off on trading in our trailer. Our trailer is 4200lbs dry, still a good idea to break it in before towing?

Just call your stealership and ask them to notify you of any incoming trucks and buy that instead. Some of us will be waiting until Oct/Nov if you don't take action.

Did you buy or lease ... I.e. are you turning the truck back in before all the warranty expires ?

Buy and keep my vehicles roughly 8 yrs before buying new again. Could never lease when I put 30-40k kms on it a year. Usually get less than 2 yrs on a new car warranty and never buy extended warranty. ?

I am even willing to travel 15hrs away to get it, but there is nothing anywhere and nothing incoming even close to my configuration. You ordered an XLT screw 302a 3.5 eco 4x4 with max tow. That's literally the most common truck available. I bet 7 in 10 F-150s are this config or extremely close. You can literally drop adjustable pedals, tailgate step, sound, and 2kw power... you really need those?

Whoo hooo. Truck is in! I tell you February orders to May builds are going to be combing fast. Once my ETA changed from 10/31 to 7/31 it was shipped on 6/29 and at the dealer today

I'd say 9 out 10 are sport with centre console and we do need the front bench. Adjustable pedals are beneficial to my 5'1" daughter who will also be driving the truck. I do want the onboard power rather than lugging around a generator for all our camping trips. Could live without the step. The B&O i could pass on then go custom. And it has to be Agate as the truck cap is here waiting to be out on.

You have the same ETA dates as I do, although mine was released on June 29. My theory is that those will get shipped sometime between tomorrow and the end of the week, following the 4th of July weekend. Since Ford usually underpromises and overdelivers on the ETAs, it might be fairly quick. From another "awaiting shipment", I'm hoping this is just a normal holiday related delay and we'll get our trucks soon!

Looks like you were right. Just checked the tracker this morning and have been switched to In transit! Nothing showing up on the trucking site though, I will keep an eye on it. Hope yours gets shipped today as well !

EDIT : In transit but no ship date. Not sure if it goes into "In Transit" prior to actually shipping ? @Antimatter Tremor any knowledge of this?

Good for you buddy! If you wanted to compromise you could have bought off the lot. Why spent $70k if you don’t get exactly what you need/ want.!

My Tracker did super funky stuff yesterday, so it may just be that. It went back and forth from in transit, to awaiting shipment, and back twice. Now it has been delivered (last night at 9pm) and it still says "awaiting shipment". So it may just be a bit of a glitch. I would watch for the Window sticker date to change as an indication it may have shipped to you.
