I don't have a VIN yet. ill give them a few weeks and check back. I get the sense that they aren't going to keep me up to date with the situation.

You should have vin and order number in about. 10 to 20 days past deposit , Dearborn plant builds are sometimes faster , this is from watching there deliveries here in California when I searched for a different truck , some dealers are getting truck unannounced also that were retail orders and were held for chips and people cancelled , so search some dealers by zip codes you find what you ordered , keep your order but slow downs can happen . Be prepared for 10 to 16 weeks ,

Has anyone confirmed 22 production is going to begin in September. The only info I have seen is orders are opening for 22my in September

Push to get your vin and order number this pushes dealer to order or you can start shopping , use the Ford.com truck builder website and go 100 hundred miles away or find a zip code 200 or 300 miles away so your search area widens , but there are matches out there just takes time.

For reference, I ordered 2/26 and still do not have a VIN assigned. I talked to my sales manager Monday and he has no better idea what is going on than any of us do. His comment was that it might come in September or maybe in October, he really doesn’t know…..

This seems a bit more honest than his original prediction that it would be ready by early May.

If he cannot give you a vin number that’s a problem, if vehicle was ordered there is a vin assigned within 10 days of order , if dealer cannot give you vin , you need a new dealer or they did not order any vehicle and there trying to sell you a higher price lot vehicle , sounds like crap to me , I am Mechanic for a utility company we buy 500 to 600 a years and our dealer works real hard to keep us happy. if you get a vin and order number give to me and I will check production date if they ordered it.

If no vin number what are they checking , each vehicle is assigned a vin number to ID it along with a order number.

Thanks for the tip. So, should my build show up as a "dealer order" in this search once its been assigned a VIN? I see some of the other orders tagged "dealer order" from my dealership on the Ford search, are showing up with a green window sticker.

So i ordered back in March and just recently received a vin. My dealer tells me its scheduled to be built in July but when i put the vin and order # in fords tracker it shows it will be a 2022 MY. Maybe KC is starting 22 builds earlier than expected or my ETA of build is not correct...
