Here's the one on the 25 Super Duty. Looks to be the same except the SD shows a double tap on the tailgate. Not sure if it will require 2x or not. PN: SC3Z11654BA Ford Parts showing out of stock too.

Jesse, while I have you, if you ever see these black lenses for the 25's in your garage, with the buttons in the center, please pass along the lens part number to the forum. Would be great to fix that big button on the J1 25's.

Dang, is it grouped together in a single order item I could look up? I've looked all over the parts site using a good J2 VIN that has the new part. Example: 1FTFW7LD5SFA75485 This is the closest I get to anything remotely related. The 10D885 is not even mentioned to be a separate part that I can tell.

That's strange, they moved the generator switch as well. They are costing more money with all the changes. Having to change all the part numbers, manuals, wiring. My 21 generator on the dash, and tailgate release where yours is but bigger. Sad they removed it in the 25's.

I havent done it yet. I havent been in a 25 yet.

First would need to verify wiring at the connector.

If the wiring is there there there should be a need for forscan changes. The tailgate release on the tailgate and the cabin button should be on the same circuit.

This is all unconfirmed at this point. Me guessing until I can look into it

Doesn't your 2025 Platinum come standard with the Bed Utility Package including power open / close tailgate?

Yet it has no push button in the cab to open / close the tailgate? You have to go to a touchscreen for that? ( )

Mine doesn't have a release on the touchscreen. I don't think I have a way to open the tailgate from inside the truck. ?

It does, the FOB works in the truck as well, just no release button

Kind of a PITA digging in your pocket for the fob when seated, eh? Takes away a lot of the convenience of that power tailgate (used mine Saturday when backing up to a loading dock at the West Marine store, lots of other times, too ).

Good Luck adding that button!
