Add Tailgate Release Button on the 2025's?

Was hoping to replace my Stop/Start button on my 25 Platinum with the Tailgate release. I use the 4D Tech Eliminator so the button is even more useless now. Anyone know if the wiring harness is there for the tailgate release button? Perhaps there's a ForScan option to enable the button on the 25's?

2025 moved the tailgate release to the headlight switch. So wiring wont be in the old location

On my 25 there is no tailgate release. If you're referring to the button on the far left on the image with the start-stop button, that's the 25 and that's the cargo light.

Gotcha. My apologies, I misunderstood what you were saying. The image you've provided, is that from a different model for the 25? Perhaps one without PAT? I would be fine to replace the entire headlight switch assembly as shown. If that's a possibility do you know if I need to enable anything in ForScan or is this just a plug and play solution to my issue?

Do you happen to have a part number? I looked through the ford parts page and the only headlight switch available with the tailgate release for 2025 was for the Lightning. The other headlight switch options for the ICE version was fuel door release for powerboost and police secure idle button for the police interceptor trucks.

I was looking high and low too and couldn't find which model used the combo switch shown in the photo.

I'm curious as to what its on because the Lightnings do not come with fog lights and in that image it has the fog light button. I looked at some autotrader listings with real pictures for Job 2 2025 models non power boost but none have the tailgate button, PAT or not.

I believe the top left button is for the cargo lights incorporated into the third tail light above the rear window.

Yup that's the cargo light switch. I was talking about the button in the middle of the headlight dial. Here's a pic of the Lightning headlight switch, see how there isn't a fog light button.

I did it again ? Good point, missed the fog light logo completely.

Figured out that headlight switch comes on the Raptor with the power tailgate and step.
I'm pretty sure this is the part number for the headlight switch: SC3Z-11654-CA

Here's a picture.

Not sure what's involved to swap this switch into a non raptor F-150. Need to look into some wiring diagrams for that.

Good find! Looks to be about a hundred bucks but out of stock. I see the same on dealer sites in FL for the 25 Raptor. Wish I could see the real part photos. Not seeing any, nothing on FeeBay either.
