I think it is the latter, I also did the same, 3 cases with Customer Care then another with the Executive Office. After my last contact with them, mine kicked loose two days later. My dealer also did at least one trace as I called every week on Tuesday.
As a counterpoint, I also have 3 open cases with customer care and I have left 4 voicemails at the Executive Office (first one before I had a customer care case, next 3 with a case number). No one from the Executive Office has responded to me. Customer Care never responded after creating each case. And there has been no progress on my truck since Produced 3/17.

Who did you contact at the Executive Office?

@GreggT I called Ford headquarters (313-322-3000) and asked the operator to transfer me to the Executive Office. As far as I can tell it's just a voicemail box for the Executive Office. However, the recording states that if you leave a customer care case number and your contact information, someone will reach out to you by the end of the next business day. That obviously never happened.

Did you call a more direct line?

I Emailed, sent one each to Becca Anderson, Bill Ford, Elena Ford, and Jim Farley, not sure which one assigned me to an Executive Liaison. They contacted me about five days later (I had given up). Exactly one month later I contacted them again basically because of no progress, no communication. Two days later my truck was completed and shipped.

Thanks for the additional info. I'll give that a try today before I give up on Ford HQ entirely.

Just when I get so pissed at this company they do something to impress me!
I'm truly concerned that rodents are living in these parked trucks and now I see ford has updated the owners manual to include several recipes for fried rat.
Fuch you'd have to go to the white house to see anything more impressive!

Just inquiring how did you obtain these emails? I would love to do the same thing but just can't seem to find there emails, I have had case open for some time now but the case manger just wants to close it and never gives any updates. I have also left several messages with Headquarters and same thing know one responds. My production date was 03/25

On Google and Linkedn, not hard just make sure they are current, the ones I listed are. Calling is a waste of time, JMO.

This is what I sent:

I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to get information on a new F150 I have on order. I am hoping you might help as I’ve tried all the traditional approaches.
On 2/15 of this year I ordered a F150 Lariat, order #G21T, 1FTFW1E80MFB34586. I was told to expect delivery around the first of April. This vehicle was put into production on 3/16. Today is 4/25 and it still shows in production. Our dealer, Gilbert and Baugh in Albertville Alabama has been great to work with but in spite of several requests cannot get a delivery date. They have hit a stone wall like myself. After speaking to three different Ford representatives, the first I did not make a note of their name, just referred me back to the dealer. The second named Judy at 866-631-3788, extension #77743 was very nice and confirmed my vehicle was sitting on a lot outside of Dearborn lacking parts for completion. She had no idea when my truck might be completed and could not explain why a truck, same model and accessaries but a different color with a build date 9 days after mine was delivered to our dealer a few days back. Then I spoke to a nice lady named Jasmine at the 800-392-3673 number and she was less helpful and just referred me back to my dealer. I have read on the Ford Forum that while these vehicles were built without parts and set on lots, they are now being bypassed in favor of current production. Based upon what I am seeing, this is true and considering myself nor my dealer can get a delivery date from Ford, there must be no current plan to complete them. I have heard that it will be at the end of the 2021 season before these vehicles will be finished and shipped.
I would like to know, do I need to reorder considering mine is stuck in “Never Never Land”. Do I just need to forget about receiving it in a reasonable period of time, or do I just need to plan on not getting the truck I ordered?
I am very frustrated to say the least, over the lack of information and communication.
I am hoping you can cut through the red tape and let me know what the plan is for my vehicle.
Thank You!!

I sent another follow up on 5/25.

I have given up on my order, they can have that Truck that is going to sit through the summer without moving.

I am just going to wait to the end of the year now and see what kind of options I have then.

1FTEW1EP1MKE02538 C425 Build shifted from Dearborn to Kansas City.
No idea what my hold up is now. Original build week was April 12th changed to May 7th.
Who knows what it is now. Ordered Feb 22, 2021. Original ETA end date was June 9 2021 and now it shows as Jan 01-1990. Primary status says in production but that doesn't mean much obviously.
IF THEY ARE GOING TO DELIVER SOME TIME IN SEPTEMBER THAN I MIGHT AS WELL PASS, GIVE THE TRUCK BACK TO THE DEALER AND ORDER A 2022.
