Back in the day I found air fresheners that smelt like the cologne cool water. It smelt nice and wasn't overbearing at all. I could only find it at auto zone then one day couldn't find it anymore. Then in 2010 I bought an f150 and the dealership when detailing it put a little green sachel in it that lasted for a good while smelt good too.
What recommendations do you have for a nice clean smell not overbearing for the truck. I just like a hint of smell not slap you in face when opening door.

What do you get. Guy I used to work with got one of the fresheners they put on toilets and had I. His truck. Lol. Not sure if I'd wanna go that route tho. Lol

Want a laugh
I was in Dubai in 1996
Visted a place that bootlegged the essential oils or the concentrated oils for all the popular fragrances
Hill finger, opium etc
Super super concentrated oil
If you get it un diluted on your skin...you can scrub for days and it still comes through
I have a 2 oz bottle of leather from TH
I put a dab on cotton wipe and wipe the Lower dash down by ac intake
It lasts for months...and the bottle is still half full

That being said
When it runs out...a leather cologne on a dabber
King ranch has to smell like a saddle shop or cigar lounge sans the cigar

I use Ozium Original scent. It eliminates ANY smell (except strong old smoke)
3 second spray with AC on recirculate, and your truck will smell basically like right after a thunderstorm.

This is the best like you said. Always had these in my old Hondas and they continue to be great in my truck.

Use Ozium as @Adjutant recommends, or an essential oil.

Synthetic fragrances (as used in Febreze, Glade, Old Spice, Axe, etc., etc., etc.) are basically poison to the human body that is excused because it is used in such small amounts.

Yet these days it is used in everything.

Do you really want to be breathing this and rubbing it all over your body?

Besides, once you go with a natural oil like grapefruit, mint, etc. for a while, you will realize synthetic fragrance actually smells sh*t.

Do yourself and your family a favor and give it a try. You've nothing to loose!
