King Ranch Club; Post Them Photos

Signed paperwork last Saturday (May 15).

Had the truck since Thursday (May 20), dealer had for three to fix two items. Detailed interior and applied leather conditioner. Carefully washed and de-badged.

On Monday (May 24) it is off to get Truxedo X15 Pro, Line-X Premium, Paint Protection Film, Ceramic Tint, Undercoating, and Ceramic Paint Protection.

That means I won't get it back until next Friday (May 28).

I am loving the PowerBoost and Antimatter Blue looks amazing.

Did you add the King Rach letters to back quarter panel?
If so where did you find them?

I have purchased for years at Personlize Your Vehicle with Chrome Letters & Numbers | Elektroplate (chromeemblems.com) - Style # 2. I have done LARIAT (2015 & 2018) but haven't done a KING RANCH until now.

I go 2 rows of 1.25" tape (takes time to align perfectly level) above the 4X4 or FX4 sticker because the sticker is level to the ground and the plastic bed rails are not. It is also easier to hold my 12" level on the tape and gently set the letter on it before leaning onto the paint to stick.

• Lariat the letters are spaced 1.75" apart.
• King Ranch letters are .75" apart with 1.75" between G and R to separate the words.

After a few days I remove the 4X4 or FX4 stickers (just to make sure I can replace a letter if it doesn't stick - which I haven't had to do).

All finished except for the tailgate King Ranch letters/logo in Stone Gray. Can't even see the PPF on this color. Line-X did a perfect job on the ceramic tint, PPF, Line-X Premium, ceramic paint protection, undercoating and installing the Truxedo X15 Pro.

Can't wash it or roll the windows down for 5 days though.

My dealer is ordering my new modem Tuesday since my Sync, weather in Navigation, and hotspot won't work.

I have told them about the forums solutions and they had another truck with the build date within the two weeks and my salesman said they have the bulletin and will fix on Tuesday. Maybe that means programming vs. dead modem. Would be nice if it is just a download and I drive away with it all working.

Thought I would add this here for us KR guys.

I noticed the XLTs has this wheel well guard that has more protection for slinging stuff to the front of the rear wheel wells. I think it might also help with water spray when it rains.

The back of my boards are always the dirtiest and felt this would do a better job then the ones our truck gets.

I check for the part numbers and looked at one on the lot and the holes are the same.

This is a photo of the what I'm talking about.

Had them order these with my points to check it out, not much money and if it does protect better will be worth it.

This afternoon I saw a KR just like yours parked at Lowe’s. It was the first 2021 I’ve seen in town since I bought mine in March.

I ordered the F250 superduty version from Tufskinz and hoping it is the same as the F150. Tailgate measures the same so have my fingers crossed. Will reply as soon as I get them.

Let's see those beautiful King Ranch photos. When you do an add on, post an update of it and tell us about it.

Picked mine up just today so not the best photos. Will post more later when I get my bed cover; swap tires to Michelin's, mud flaps and window tint. I cut the exhaust tip off where it won't show. Won't be doing much more than that.

Of course it rained today.

Nice. Mine is in transit. I will post pics when I get It.

Went to dealer yesterday and they downloaded an update for the Gateway Module Configuration and now all is working. It did take overnight until FordPass connected as the servers had to update overnight.

Man awesome truck! Question on the tire setup, do you rub at all? And how is the ride quality once you did that from stock. My wife doesn’t want the ride quality to suffer a lot. Thanks!

I had a King Ranch ordered but because it was taking so long to get it scheduled for build, I started searching dealers from Denver to DC, North Dakota to Florida. I found two like the one I ordered, one in Kansas City and one in Houston, TX. Houston dealer loved their trucks too much and wouldn't come off MSRP. I rented a car after I sold my Platinum) and bought the one in Kansas City. Love it, especially after having the front windows tinted to match the back windows and installing a bed cover. It's a hybrid but get less MPG(21) than my 2018 Platinum Diesel got (24 MPG). The windows are not tinted yet in these pics.
