You could have pulled the wires needed out of your driver's door harness (factory)

I contemplated that, but then someone I know wants to buy the harnesses... I thought it over and it wasn't that difficult.

I have attached pictures of the harnesses part numbers. The top is the driver's door.

So I finally installed the new harness in my driver door. Just a heads up. The passenger harness is the same if you have telescoping or with power fold only. I have had power fold working for some time now.

I do have maybe a stupid question. After reviewing the Forscan spreadsheet I am having a hard time understanding what values are needed for telescoping. Is it all those values? TiA.

740/741-03-03	xxxx	xxx*	xx--	0 =	TMC DISABLED		1 =	TMC ENABLED

If you want auto mirror fold on lock value 0, else 3

If you wire either telescope or fold backwards, you can change it in the appropriate module to reverse its direction appropriately.

Finally got telescoping and auto fold working. Worth every penny. Unfortunately, memory mirrors isn't working. I changed the values , but no luck. I'll have to look into it more.

I see in in the spreadsheet. I was wondering the same. Obviously missing something.

From what I have read on another forum you have to turn on all memory options. Changing all the values....even for the seats. Then the issues becomes DTC codes because XLT isn't built with the option. Not a lot about it. Also, not the end of the world.

Given that you don't have a DSM, you're not going to be changing any values in it. I have a DSM in mine

Ah!! Yeah was wondering what that was. All good. Still excited having power fold/telescoping and auto fold .... Along with auto dimming. May reinstall the original switch.

I’ve been following this thread for a while gathering parts and waiting for the weather to get nice enough so I could install my new mirrors. Bought the ML3Z-17696-DA package from Fairway and finally installed yesterday. I now get no video image from the side and front cameras, only the rear seems to work.

Weird part is I was able to run IPMA Lane Departure Warning System Camera Calibration successfully, and the lane departure system works, and I was able to use Blue Cruise, so I’m assuming the cameras are okay.

When I run 360 Camera Calibration it gets to 70% complete and then I get an error message stating “The Vehicle conditions are incorrect” and stops, but I'm following the instructions of starting the engine, placing in drive, activate 360 camera, etc.

Local Interconnect New Module Calibration runs successfully and I’ve done IPMA module reboot several times. Anyone have any ideas where I should look next?

You have to swap out the cameras. Install the cameras that came with your truck in the new tow mirrors.

How hard is it to swap out the cameras? Tips tricks guidance. Willing to do it but just don’t know how to get my current cameras out and into tow mirrors. Searched YouTube and nothing for 2024s.
