My 275/65/20 SLs are going on this weekend. Guy bought a set and then his GF gave him Fuel rims and 35s for Christmas. Less than 500 miles on them. I'll report in once I run them for a bit.

Just got my 275/65/20 116T SLs on my PB. Had them for about a week and love them. More to come on a review and pictures but first impressions are perfection. Very few options in SL at 46lbs in an OME plus size of 34” in lieu of a 33”. Running with the 6112s and still playing with tire pressure. They are quieter on the highway than worn stock hankooks and so much better looking.

Tire Rack just released a new review today of several popular AT tires, including the G3. It did amazing on the traction part of the test. Curious if you all agree with their assessment of noise and ride quality?

Woah! I feel even better about “experimenting” with these tires now! And yes, I’d agree with everything they’ve said about it. It isn’t a loud tire, but it makes…tones sometimes. Can’t hear it over wind noise or music though. Also I mentioned earlier it kinda rides stiff. And I just drove thru rain and snow near Missoula, MT and they were phenomenal when it got thick and nasty.

They have a little bit of a firmer feel so that may be what they are referring to with the ride quality. Noise isn't an issue for me with these but I would describe it as a higher pitch so maybe it's a little more noticeable. I've had the Falkens before and although the overall volume is probably about the same they were a lower pitch. So just different.

I agree about the traction/braking. Feel great about taking a chance on these.

Well, I'm extremely happy the my G3 purchase. I took a chance on these, based on what little info I could find and they might have a little bit of noise but since I'm always playing my radio, I don't really notice it.

For me, the performance is what I was focused on. I don't care a bout a little noise. What I care about is that I'm in FL and we get A LOT of rain, so I need tires that will hold their own and hold the line. I've been very happy with these so far.

Another thing I'm curious about:

What pressure are you all running your tires at? I'm currently testing them at 50 psi. When my guy put them on, he recommended we try there first. So far I've had no issues but I might play with that and see if there's a noticeable change in road noise or performance. I don't believe I saw mention of tire pressure they used, in the video.

I have SLs at 40-42 PSI currently. I need to do a chalk test but snow makes that difficult.

I should do a chalk test as well. Hadn't given it much thought.

looks Awesome. I ordered the same tires in SL a month ago and am still waiting. I am glad to hear the reviews are great.

I've taken a very slight hit but that's mostly because I went with a larger sized tire.

I don't yet know how my gas mileage has been affected because I had them installed just as winter hit. I track my mileage, so I'll have better insight this spring. I have now driven in the snow quite a bit and they seem to do very well.

Definitely interested in the SL version of these.

I aired my Mickey Thompson's up to 45 psi to try and get some better MPG's and they are on the firm side.
