Got my truck today My F-150 Ordering Story (04/26 built week)

Hi all, AccentedWanderer here.

Pioneer gave me an update on 05/09 before he decided to take a brake. Here is the screenshot he provided.

Now - long story short. My truck came in today.

I ordered on 03/01. Received VIN by asking dealer on 03/11. Was told initial built date was 04/05 but was pushed back to 04/26.
Truck Blend Date was 04/30. The factory is Dearborn, MI. Official Ford online tracker only changed status after 04/22 to 'in production' and still is today (05/17).
As you can see, on 05/09, no update on shipping and 'released' on this screenshot. My official tracker has an ETA of 05/25 and was never changed.

Today is 05/17, my salesman texted me and said the truck is here. I have seen the photo he sent. I will go pick it up tomorrow. Tracker still says 'in production'. No update on PALSAPP yesterday nor today. my vehicle vin is 1FTFW1E89MFB47515.

My truck is a F-150 SuperCrew 5.5ft, Carbonized Grey Lariat 502A.Ecoboost 3.5 with trailer package and sports package and FX4 (no max tow). I have power tailgate, 360 camera, BO unelased, Moonroof, 2kw ProPower, 36 Gallon Tank. Pretty much fully loaded Lariat. No bedliner nor wheel well liners. No Touneau Cover.


I personally think that like everyone said, Ford is a mess. They are most definitely focusing on retail order, or else no way my vehicle would come in on time. I have priority number of 19 so this is definitely not an issue. I will guess that it is up to your individual dealer allocation that might cause difference in production and shipping time. Again, PALSAPP is not working for me - I think you should not count on it since it is inconsistent - some people have it working and see update on PALSAPP before dealer arrival but this is not me. 05/25 eta was accurate for me and it actually arrived 8 days earlier. So for those who still have it, keep your hopes up!

I hope this information can be helpful for some of you tracking down you truck. I have been here for about 15 days and just registered, it's been fun.

Congratulations! Mine shows built 5/7 and will arrive at my dealer between 5/19-5/25 on Ford.com. Palsapp shows pending. I'l believe it when I set eyes on it. Enjoy your truck.

Congrats! My order was placed in Jan, delivery production date was 4/26 - but my ETA got bumped from 5/15 to 8/15 (seems arbitrary). Hoping for the same result as your own. BTW - what is the priority number system and where do I find mine?

I have had almost the exact same experience - except that my ETA Date is 5/24 (after ordering on /12) and the fact that neither my dealer nor Ford has sent me an email like yours.

I was going to ask if anyone had experienced delivery of their truck even though the Ford tracker https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/status was stuck at "in production" (like mine has been since 4/21). Has been showing estimated dealer delivery of 5/18/21 and dealer told me today delivery "looks good" (but no other details). Tracker doesn't acknowledge "built" or "shipped".
Seems like you're an example of this happening.

Mine was also built on 5/7 and is currently in route to my dealer with an ETA of 05/24,the Gm of the dealership which I know told me it's in Georgia already and the destination is Ft. Lauderdale so I might have it sooner. If that's the case from order to delivery will be just over 2 months.

I have been browsing for a while and can confirm this is the current climate.

Dealer lot is dry - no new orders for them / none will be delivered as dealer order.

Retail is being focused right now - however the tracker dates are not accurate. Only two outcome for the ETA that I have seen so far: 1. delayed to Jun / July / Aug ETA; 2. Receive truck earlier by surprise (dealer called on the same day they receive delivery because they do not know trucks are coming)

So in conclusion - just wait. No way of guessing exactly when it will get here. But if ETA did not change, it would be a hopeful news.

Congrats, my trucks' Estimated Dealer Delivery is today: 5/18/2021, but I don't think it's going to happen. My dealership has no clue when the truck will show up. It was ordered on 3/20. I get more info from this site then the dealership. I was able to look at the sticker window, but now it says it hasn't been released. So confusing and upset.

Did palsapp show any status for you at time of delivery or leading up to? Atleast pending? My eta is still 5/24 and build date 4/24 somewhat similar to you, but palsapp shows nothing for my vin, while other trucks that have been delivered to my dealer have a freight bill.
