Circling back on this change I attempted a few weeks back. Any pointers?

I have a 2021 and I changed mine to a (4) I had a (0) in mine 7D0-02-02 and it worked for me.

Also you can reboot the APIM using FORScan not sure if it will help or not

Supposed to be changed to a (4) for sure to work and keep every other thing the same. Not sure why it isn’t working for you. I know when I changed mine to a 4 I rebooted the APIM and everything was fine for me.


Also after you made the changes you did turn your A/C on or off? Cause if your A/C is off it will not pop up a number or anything

I will try again tomorrow. Just so I can confirm that I am doing it correctly - I change the value to 4 and then choose the option to write all at the bottom of the screen. Then reboot the APIM. This is from the last time I attempted. I am not supposed to use the “write” option in the 7D0-02-03 but stick to the “write all” option at the bottom?

Yes change to a 4, write all is fine, reboot APIM with FORScan, and then crank it up and turn heat or A/C on and see if it pops the icon up on screen.

If your truck is fully up to date you are able to get it done. Go to the spread sheet and click on the common tab. The changes are line 78 and 79. Camera will only show up if a trailer is connected.

Edit: if you are above Version: 22095_PRODUCT Revision: 421(2.8.3) you should be able to do the changes.

Hi. Can anyone confirm if this will disable the lane keeping system when regular cruise is turned on please?

You can go into your drivers assist menu and turn lane keeping on and off if your vehicle is equipped. I believe it you toggle normal cruise control it will turn off lane keeping.

I tried my luck this morning and it worked. Thank you for your help on this. Not sure what I did differently but it worked this time.

Another doozy for me. When I change radio stations, there is an information banner that pops on the status bar showing the new radio station but the color of this banner is completely off from the theme. Anyone has fixed this? The same thing happens when I start the truck and I get the welcome message "Welcome NAME". Screenshots below:

I will try to click some photos later this evening so the photos are clear and the color change is clearly seen.
