What kind of idiot is ragging on their tin can truck up to 100mph?

I would admit the 5.0 feels best all around, but the 3.5 pulls way harder at low revs just going normally around town. While the 5.0 beats the crap out of the 3.5 for mpgs, it falls short of the 2.7 by about 3 mpg in my real world testing. The 2.7 doesnt feel bad by any stretch, but its a hard comparison to the other two.

Who is comparing 40-100mph times? The only times I ever see people compare are 0-60mph, 60-130mph, and 1/4 mile.

I know my stock 3.5EB CCSB 4WD ran 5.68s 0-60mph and 14.06 at 97.9mph in the 1/4 mile. This isn't fast, but it's way faster than the tuned 2014 5.0 F150 that it replaced.

Not comparing times. It’s and open invite for a race 30/40/50/60-100. We all know stock trucks aren’t going 130.

Yeah a Gen 1 5.0 truck with a 6r is much slower than the current generation of f150s.

You're not wrong, my 2014 5.0 had 4.10 gears, a 3000-3200 stall converter, and it was tuned for E85. My 2021 3.5EB with 3.55 gears and 93oct was faster bone stock, and way faster with a tune.
