Ordered my Lariat hybrid 3/16

I have only heard crickets when trying to find out anything on my order. If I could at least know my order number that would be nice. I hope to get a VIN soon so I can try to track it. I know its going to take a few months. This is driving me crazy.

Your dealer has a vin# for sure. Mine was ordered 3/3 and had a vin 2 weeks later

It will depend on your dealer's allocation and priority code but I ordered a platinum on 3/15 and had the vin the following week

Check with the dealer, they should have it by now. My priority code was a 19 and I had my VIN# a week later after placing my order.

I ordered 3/27 (evening of 3/26), was priority 10 and just got a VIN around 4/19. Build week is supposed to be July 7th but I can’t see that in tracking yet so not sure how official that is (and what future delays there may be).

By the way Priority codes between 10 and 19 are only dealer-specific. A 19 at one dealer might still get build before a 10 at another dealer.

A 10 at one dealer will get build before a 19 only at the same dealer. Each dealer may schedule between 10 and 19 differently based on that dealer's volume.

Sorry I don't have a source to hand, but I remember reading this on the guide.

My understanding is that is the dealers choice to set whatever they want (in a range - 10 being highest priority the dealer can set).

There are some interesting threads on how this can play into when an order gets picked up from the dealer by the ordering system but I forget the details.

I have no order confirmation. Nothing except for my receipt for my deposit. I’m going down to the dealer and raise hell and start doing reviews on them.

You might still should talk to some other dealers, if you can find a dealer with allocation and willing to give you a priority 10 it may still be faster than what you have now.
Mine was ordered 3/15 with a vin the following week. I received the window sticker this week and is scheduled to be built in Dearborn on 4/27. Not saying I will get it that fast as it could still sit waiting on chips but am trying to show how the priority codes works. I also ordered through a small dealership and verified they had allocation available before I placed my deposit.
