Not sure how useful this is. But I bought a 5.0 Tremor 402A from the dealership on May 1 in Maryland. They had it for less than 2 days (7 miles on it). The blend date was April 12.

I got notification that Granger got my truck yesterday, no word from them yet, so you may see it there sooner than you think. I have a blue highways route mapped out to Amarillo, then 40 to Flag. I'm going to stop in Lincoln to see some friends, but it will be at least a 2 day drive back. American has direct flights that get in around 2 PM, but for some reason I do n't see that flight available after June 4th.
yeah doing exactly the same thing,starting in okc airbnb,says was on way to Granger I just don't know about the quality hold thing

I am starting to feel like my truck is going to be the first and last one on the lot. The status hasn't changed since 2/4/24.

I feel the same way. Very concerned about the future of my Lariat, will it be in the shop for dealer repairs more than I have it in my garage at home. I am honestly thinking of canceling my order and considering purchasing a GMC. Same price as my Lariat and same price but with more standard equipment. Stay tuned.

What additional standard equipment/trim level are you comparing the Lariat to?

See attached photo. If you are interested just go on the GMC truck site, I was surprised to see what they offer for the same price as the Ford Lariat.

Too late now, just got an email from Granger saying they have my truck. A few days short of 2 months from the time I ordered it, but the only option I chose was the electronic rear differential. Everything else I want I'll just add myself.

It's been 7.5 months since Order Confirmed, but today I noticed the "Built" area has a date of 12 May, although the green dot still resides in the Order Confirmed section. Ford Chat did say it has a delivery time frame of 14-20 May, so I've got that going for me......... ? ?

@Rinn69 Where did you order your's? Granger?

My delivery time si the same week as yours for Granger. I've been keeping track of the train and mine truck is east of Kansas City right now.

I've given up on my order status page. It went from built back to order received last week and hasn't changed. I found Chat being the best to find info.

I tried to make myself go that way... same truck with 22's and some options, cheaper, but I just couldn't do it. Many things that I did like with the Denali, but these are what kept me away;

- GM engines aren't interesting (Duramax has it's issues and the V8s are old school and yet new issues appear each time they are "improved").
- Seats seemed hard.. comfortable for short distance but not sure long-haul.
- No Twin-Panel Sun Roof (and the cabin seemed a little tighter overall).
- Nav screen is super wide but short, so really like an 8" screen (or smaller) with a mini-screen next to it.
- Both interiors look nice. I currently prefer the more "techy" (or clean?.. I can't explain) Ford look/feel. My 2019 Ram Rebel interior is tough to beat, and more like the GMC to me, so maybe that's part of it... I wanted something different.
- No Pro-Power Onboard (Not a big deal to most, but is nice to have if you're the type to use it).
- Ford seems to have a bit more "fun but useless tech", which I like. :)
- I really like the idea of the Pro-Access Tailgate.
- I wanted a Hybrid or the Coyote V8 and nothing else would do. :rockon:

SingleSpeed, you made some good points and I agree with most of them, but after waiting 6 months for the Lariat and with no delivery date update, I have reached the end of my rope. My big concern is what problems will I have in the future with this truck. I'm 80 years young and this is going to be my last truck purchase and I have been saving for this truck for 2 years now and I just want it over. I have been a Ford guy all my driving life and this decision I might make is killing me. I'm going to the GMC dealer next Tuesday and look at their trucks and do a lot of soul searching. Thanks for your input, well taken.

F150 xlt-PB-screw-6..5’ ordered 10/13
I wrote ford a nice letter to see if that would get me more answers than the dealer or ford chat. No luck.
ordered 10/13/23 — blended 01/18/24. Then all dark on communications.

Oh yeah.. I get it.

My family was a GM family growing up. If I ignore the lifter issues and stuff (that GM has resolved), then I still tend to think that.. if I wanted to buy a truck long-term, a Chevy/GMC might be the choice. The same thing that I deemed as "negatives" can also be positives.. just depends on what you are looking for;

- The 6.2L V8 will have parts forever. Anybody can work on them. Generally cheaper to fix. And if they stop "improving" it for 0.1 extra MPGs or .01% less emissions, it's reliable.
- If you're a thinner (or "normal" lol) person, the seats might be great.
- No twin-sunroof means no fixing it every few years or addressing leaks in 5+ years (if not garage kept).
- NAV Screen - Who really cares.. I know where I'm going.
- Less tech = less to break
- etc.

Well.. if you decide to defect (lol), A "Downpour Metallic" Denali with 22" Chromes (or polished aluminums) is a nice truck (that's what I was looking at).
