Lariat With PAT Scheduled For Production

It looks like those of us built the first week of Pro Access Tailgate are on a hold of some sort. We're in the "Build Week 4/29 - 5/6" thread.

The short...

- Tracker went "In Production" no date on 4/23.
- Window sticker a few days later, blend date of 5/3 (chat claimed build date of 5/1 on 4/29).
- End of day 5/3, no updates, still "In Production" with no date.
- Reach out to chat, they say "its in production and should finish next week".
- The next day (Saturday evening) the BCM module starts responding and it appears in Ford App, but still no updates anywhere.
- On Monday 5/6 a date appears below "In Production" of 5/6.
- A couple of hours ago, a bunch of us (seems like all of us built last week) receive an email:

And that's where we sit.

I didn't expect my truck to ship quite yet.. I have several add-ons that will need to be done "off-site". I have a feeling that the "off-site" part hasn't happened yet though... I might make a few calls tomorrow.. we'll see.

Yeah.. at first we were thinking it was all PowerBoost, but now there is a mix on hold (3.5EB, 5.0 and PB). We were also thinking that they were all PAT trucks, but that has proven false as well. Not sure yet what the delay is.

UPDATE: Slowly moving along... hopefully no delays. Blend date was 5/28 so everything seems to be on time.

I contacted Ford chat and they said they expect ETA to dealership 6/15

Hopefully things are running a bit smoother now. After the handful of us that spent a month in QC hold after build, it seemed like the later ones were moving quicker. Man this forum gives a lot of business to Granger!

Yeah this forum does. I found them elsewhere but they’re posted all over. Can’t beat 4% below invoice. Still a better deal then any dealer near me including paying for my truck shipped to my doorstep.

I never actually showed my local dealer my quote from Granger, but as soon as I said "below invoice", they wanted nothing to do with me.

Can't beat them, and especially with such awesome customer service. I've never seen anyone say a bad thing about any experience with them. Looking forward to finally getting to see the place in person.

If they keep this up, I'll never buy a vehicle anywhere else.

Congrats! That might be the quickest timeline I’ve seen yet! Was yours a KC or Dearborn build?

Maybe? Mine is going by convoy so maybe not. Either way I’m satisfied with the timeline. Hopefully you get yours soon!

Might be wrong but I think the trip to granger is rail to KC and truck (convoy) to Granger.
