Build delays... here we go again

Looks like we are back to build delays... last time people started getting these e-mails their cars were sent offsite to sit in lots for months.

Ordered: Lariat, 502A, Anti-Matter Blue, PB, BAP, BUP, Moonroof, x63 PAT removal, no other add ons that would delay (i.e. spray liner)
Order Date: 1/22
Scheduled Date: 3/14 for week of 4/22
In Production Date #1: 4/15
In Production Date #2: 4/26 (unsure what happened here
Blend Date: 4/25
Build Delay E-mail: 5/2

Truck appears to be alive, I can see the Activate option in the Ford Pass app and can see the modules populated with data but other than that don't really know what is going on

I get it... I would not have been happy to have received it with scratches or whatever they fixed.... so am ok with the fact that it got sorted and it cost me some (without knowing why) time....

Thanks for that. At least doesn't make it seem like this will be forever. But to what you just said I wish there was a little more communication/transparency.

if this is something that is going to take months I'd rather peace out now and go find another option for a truck as my current daily driver (a Jeep GC... i know my fault) is limping along... if its a week delay not a big deal but from where I sit its hard to tell.

I did see a few other people from the same build week got similar emails on this forum and another forum. Which has me a little more concerned its not a one off issue.

It's like buying a used truck. You paid $70,000.00 + for a new truck and that's what you should have received. I have been waiting six months for the Lariet I ordered and no one can tell me where it is and why. I am about at the end the rope and fed up with Ford not being honest. Just tell me the truth, that's all I want.

Well it looks to me the 2 guys building your truck are having computer problems

That’s the issue! Those gloves he is wearing don’t work on the touch pad!

I hope it isn’t too long of a delay either, I’ll be refreshing my screen and talking to chat more often.

Got the same message this morning. How much longer did you end up waiting before delivery? (assuming you've gotten it by now, at least I hope so...)

I do have the truck and absolutely love it. Today she is getting a bed liner installed and tomorrow windows tinted. I had 25 days between he still building e-mail and when it shipped. All the dates are below in my signature. I will say my dealership is in Southern, VA so shipping took longer than it seems to take for others.

Mine had a blend date of 0621 change to built 06/23 was shipped 06/27 with estimated delivery date of 07/05 - 07/18. Headed out of the country tomorrow so hopefully it will be ready when I get back at the end of the month, was ordered 09/14/23.

My blend was 6/28...the friday before the two week shut down
Hoping it picks back up tomorrow and ships soon.
