You are crying about a knob that has no impact on driving or using the vehicle and is not in the way at all, plus you couldn't take 10 seconds and Google the part yourself. Yep, my comment is 100% fact.

Using the technology provided I could drive circles around you backing up little buddy.

Ok. Good luck with that. I love how me wanting to remove it upsets you so much.. and no, the technology doesn’t really work where I live because it would be covered in snow and mud the whole time

also which one of my 15 trailers would you like to come try that with?

And again I’m guessing you don’t really read. But I want to remove it because I want to use that space for something else and because I don’t need the noob knob like you do. I want to remove it. I did a lot of looking around, but couldn’t find the bezel for that one so I asked on here and someone kindly helped me. Then I met a jackass and he got upset because he didn’t back trailers without the little knob I’m thinking of making it into a book. “ the little tool that needs to use the noob knob.”

Not upset at all just stating a fact and calling out ignorance. This forums isn't the place for acting like you are about a little knob.

Want to act like a complete moron there are other places that will take you in with open arms.

The technology works perfect and doenst mean people can't "drive a trailer " cause they use.

Really so if I take your sticker off or your button dies, or you jump in a different truck, you can still back your trailer? ?

So let me get this straight you saw my post, even though I have every right to ask the questions got upset enough to dig down into it. Read every comment and then post a reply when you saw something you didn’t like? But I’m the asshole.

The same guy that said, "Why is me wanting to make my truck the way I want it so hard for you to understand?" has a problem with someone who wants to use pro trailer backup or "noob knob" as he calls it. So you can't comment on how he uses his truck but he has no problem criticizing you for how you use yours. These people are called hypocrites and have nothing better to do than come on to a forum full of friendly people and try to stir the pot by trolling.

I’m sorry I don’t think you should be able to drive 20,000 pounds down the road if you don’t have the experience to do it properly and safely. That includes backing it up semi truck drivers have to go through extensive training to drive truck and trailer. But grandpa can hook up to 20,000 pounds, and hall it down the road with not so much to video. Made to think they can do so simply because there’s a button ironically labeled pro trailer back up assist hint if you’re a pro you don’t need the assist.

and just for your information before I started getting harassed I didn’t call it the noob knob. I actually put that in after I started getting people pissed off that I was taking the knob out.

Maybe cause you are so worked up over a little knob and didn't notice but you are in the F150 forums. If you are pulling 20,000 with your F150 you are far more of a problem than anyone who uses a little knob that has ruined your life to back up more effectively.

Go ahead and add the curb weight of the trucks plus the max tow weight. I’ll wait…

I want to see you back a trailer up a snowy hill where the truck and trailer side around then jack knife into a parking spot at the top. In a snowstorm. Or back up a wagon trailer. Heck I’ve used my F150 to park AH64’s into a hanger when the tug broke. Sorry but your gimic only works in perfect conditions.

I want to delete the useless pro trailer back up assist knob. I actually know how to back a trailer and don't need a the gimic to do it. Personally i feel if you can't back it up you shouldn't be towing it in the first place. Some people will be triggered by this and lash out because they think "its just great". My condolences to you and your feelings.

Any who... anyone know what the blank plate part number is or where i can find it. also what modules in for scan do I need to change to get any error messages or DTC to go away. I want to keep the trailer camera and tire pressure monitors (these are not cheats just situational awareness) I have plans for the space where the button goes. I'm either putting a mic there for a radio, a cell phone mount with mag safe charger as the induction charger in the truck doesn't work well with the larger phones in a chase, or a button for an "enable light bar" (use it with the high beams to trigger the led light bar rather than having to hit the button each time). either way, I do not want the stupid knob.

This is fun. Finding that delete cap part number is a bit difficult because the part number stamped on the part is not the service part number. Good luck with your project.
