  1. Powering an RV

Thanks very much. Turns out the adapter I have does work. In the poor light I failed to see the slot for the right-angle prong.

Thanks very much. It turns out that the adapter I bought does work. In the poor lighting, I failed to see the opening for the right-angle prong
  3. Powering an RV

Thanks. Not sure that male will fit the inverter, but I’ll double check. Yeah, really wanted the 7.2k but just wasn’t to be.
  4. Powering an RV

We recently bought a trailer that runs on 30 amps. We had ordered a PowerBoost with the 7.2k inverter, but it did not come in on time, so we bought a ‘23 with the 2.4 off the lot. The issue is that there doesn’t seem to be anyone who sells a 20-to-30 amp adapter. I can use a 15-to-30, but of...
  5. Deleting the Pro Trailer Backup Assist knob (Aka Noob Knob)

Can't you just. like, I don't know, ignore it?

    That was fast. Thanks!
  7. Liner and tonneau cover

Need your wisdom. Our ‘23 Lariat, recently bought from a dealer as a demo with 5k miles, came with a drop-in liner. We bought it primarily to tow a Lance trailer. It’s unlikely we’ll be frequently be throwing sharp, heavy items in the back. I’ve read the criticisms that drop-ins can trap...

    Thank you.
  10. Tow Hitch

Hi, We'll be buying our first travel trailer next month. Towing with an F-150 (yet to be purchased - could be a new '23 or something used, as the '24 Lariat PB that we ordered won't be in until at least late March). The TT will have a dry weight of 5k, a GVWR of 7k. Towing shouldn't be an issue...
  11. I want too pull 10000 lb. Toy Hauler with 23 F-150 and 4 inch BDS Lift LOL

Thought I had responded earlier, but it seems not to have posted. Anyway, many thanks for the in-depth and thoughtful response. Good to know about the drag. As a result of reading your post, I just watched a video on it. I guess the good news is that I have no intention of surpassi
  12. I want too pull 10000 lb. Toy Hauler with 23 F-150 and 4 inch BDS Lift LOL

Many thanks for the thoughtful, in-depth reply. Very helpful. As noted in a different comment, I was hoping that the curved front of the Lance would provide some relief on the drag, but you seen skeptical. The good news is that I have no intention of surpassing 60 with a trailer attached. We're...
  13. I want too pull 10000 lb. Toy Hauler with 23 F-150 and 4 inch BDS Lift LOL

Thanks very much. The Lance also has a curved front end, which I assume helps a bit in terms of drag.
  14. I want too pull 10000 lb. Toy Hauler with 23 F-150 and 4 inch BDS Lift LOL

First-time commenter here, so please be kind. LOL. Hadn't seen this before - thanks for providing! One question: What ratio would you be comfortable with? We're planning to buy a Lance 1995, GVWR 7k, and tow with an F-150. But even the sf on that would be around 80. Even 16-foot Airstreams...
