I had the Gen12 (2014) Limited wheels powder coated to match the accent color of the 2018 KingRanch.
I parted with them finally, but I love the oem non-chrome KingRanch wheels with the accent match for this go around.

Care to share about the bull bar? Does it work with Passive Assist?

It did work with the Gen13 adaptive cruise, and might with this truck. But that truck didn't have near the number of features that would be inhibited as this Gen14.

So I have given up my tradition of front bars on trucks.

Dropped off my wheels and new tires for powder coating and mounting! I pick them up next week, really excited to see how they turn out!

Wheels are back! Turned out awesome, can’t wait to run them in April. Also got some black Gorilla lugs to match

Looking good! Any pics of that new rearview mirror installed? I've always felt like Ford cheaped out on the rearviews compared to GM and Ram, which both offer frameless, digital rearviews.

I dunno if this is the same mirror, but this is my “Bobs Mirrors” mirror. Much better than the visor buttons if I say so myself. My wife’s Expedition has the visor Homelink and it just looks tacky to me. One thing I will say is I wish I went with the “frameless” mirror, I feel like those look more modern.

had to update to the latest version of Forscan and renew my license...but went out last night and activated the pro hitch assist. Reset the APIM, cleared DTC's and shut the truck down. drove to work this morning and it seems to be activated.

Added some brighter leds to the overhead. The factory lights are awesome most of the time. But sometimes you need some light right above you. These things are way overkill, but for what I’ll use them for, perfect!

Camera doesn’t take the best night pics. 1st is no lights, 2nd is the factory lights, 3rd is the new light and factory lights and it’s messing with the camera.

My comparision.

I LOVE the Alpharex start up sequence better, as it scrolls in, and out, etc...and love the turning bulb. That turns on when you turn left or right.
But the Morimotos have a much brighter DRL, and overall output is pretty substantial.
Hook up is a breeze, as it has a fuse tap already attached to put in fuse box, and no need to hook to battery. The Alpharex doesn't come with a fuse tap, just a wire. The DRL harness wire is also much thicker with the Morimotos.

I sent an email to Morimoto asking about their release date for the projector version of their lights and told them they needed to add a start up sequence to their lights. Said they are looking into it.

Yesterday's project was getting my ScreenProTech screen protectors installed. Came with a console and dashboard protection film. Wanted to get something to help with the fingerprints all over my screen. Makes my truck look dirty. BLAH!

Overall not too difficult to install. Have a few minor bubbles under the film I noticed this morning, but the instructions say this is normal and they will work themselves out in about a week or so. So we will see.
