Title says it all. I'm at war with this mangie cat. Constantly jumping up on my truck, leaving dirt and hair everywhere, but more so marring the paint. If I hit it with the hose I've got a mess or water marks on black paint. I hit the lock/unlock if I catch it on camera, but does anyone have a proven solution?

I know cats are scared of cucumbers...

Is that sending some message I don't know about...? Kinda like the pineapple.

Long ago ignorant neighbor had free-range cats. Scratched the hood of my truck too! I put mouse traps out on my vehicles, especially where they liked to get on.

I like this ^^
I occasionally sprinkle cayenne pepper, but not as effective given how often it rains. I also have a dog so limits where I can put it.

i park under the carports in the pics. i put up sun shades on both ends to help stop the sun and as a bonus it stops the cats from being able to jump up on the truck hood or tailgate or bumper.
the snakes keep the freeloading birds at bay as well
the front screen is on a 3/4 EMT pipe and i roll it up when i need to leave and then stretch it back across when i get home. the rear of carport the screen is fixed to the poles
we used to plink them with .22 but now we have lots of neighbors so that got nixed

Thank you for all for the suggestions. I think I'll give the snakes a shot, that did help with birds on my sideview mirrors. .22 is a no go (no discharge in the city), but airsoft sounds like a lot fun...I could trap the little fkr and bring it to park with the coons, but my neighbor might miss it. Maybe need to check and see who else has cameras on the block..

before we got NEIGHBORS
i used to play oswald from second story window and pick them off with a .22. the next day the turkey buzzards would be feasting

now we cant use .22 but a pellet gun works really well at about 50 feet,

This is not legal in most states for any animal. Best to have it euthanized.

Cats spread rabies, feline leukemia, toxoplasma gondii, and other diseases. The toxoplasma gondii infects humans and infected mothers are 2.7 more likely to have children with schizophrenia. They also kill 3 billion birds each year in the USA and many millions of mammals and reptiles.

For DIY cat control there is acetaminophen which is harmless to dogs and birds.

here DOGS have to be o leash, or in a fence or in the house, but cats are allowed to run loose and fluck up everything
i did not know acetaminophen would neutralize a cat .
coyotes are not eating enough around here lately

How about the panic button on your remote?
that generally scares them, but they come back
in our county they are almost to the point of overrun . people keep dropping them off or leaving them when they come to the lake for the weekend.
we dont animal control for the county, standard answer from LEO is catch em and have the vet put them down. sure pay 100 buxs to put down a cat. not to mention the cost of a trap etc.
