Visited the tracker today ... moved from in production to to awaiting shipment ? Gives me hope to have a new truck in 2023. Hope my truck is joining a few of yours for a train/convoy trip to Granger soon.

Love the color. Has me excited to get my Avalanche Lariat that was also ordered from Granger. I have a feeling I know the answer, but can you confirm if the physical button is there for the heated wheel or not? My guess is that it wouldn't be, but still wanted to know for sure.

I am hoping to figure out what is going to be needed to get the heated wheel going before taking delivery of the truck.
There is no physical button and there is no blank area for it.

There’s now a memo floating around about the ability to convert back. I bet it isn’t $140 though

Update to my current "SHIPPED" situation:
Built: 10/26
Shipped: 10/28
Received Ramp 46 Albany NY: 10/30-11/3 (going to Holyoke MA 75 minutes away by transport carrier)
ETA status checks---------------
ETA 1: 11/16-11/22
ETA 2: 11/5-11/11
ETA 3: 11/15-11/21
ETA 4: 11/25-12/1
ETA 5: 11/15-11/21
ETA 6: 11/25-12/1
ETA 7 (today): 12/20-12/26 ????!!!! the f$ck
No holds or delays (at one point someone at FP said I had a hold... but no one can find that info anywhere and have been told no hold or delays on this vehicle).

From what I have understood digging into data and asking questions to this point. Besides any real chip holds, QC holds, etc. Once built Ford has some kind of wave 1 logic/rationale that looks at regions, dealerships and a formula they use to release certain MY23 vehicles to dealerships. Its almost as if they want certain dealerships to receive MY23 vehicles before others. Like some favorites shell game... so some dealerships don't piss and moan about why some small shop got theirs first or some shit. Now there is lots of other things going on like strikes, weather, delays, shortages... but come on now... truck sits for weeks and months and no one can point to a solid reason and they just accept this as normal. Not cutting it... with me. I'll let you know if I find out anything further to my case. But new ETA is 4 weeks from now. I am going to lean on SM a bit now to do better. Hopefully you all hit your ETA's.

2 months to ship? That's nuts. 2 days from built to ship is also crazy!

Right. I suspect the quick ship is due to being a priority 1 order. But the "OKTB" for each dealership is controlled by Ford and can be inquired thru rep. So I suspect if a dealership is all set on MY22 inventory, builds... they get the final release on MY23 or specific model 23 release in general which gives them the ok to buy that MY23. So I suspect my dealership has not been given the final release yet to buy the MY23 so they can sell to me. Seems like the plausible change in ETA. I would inquire about that factoid with SM... OKTB if nothing else may holds it up. Plus this has something to do with regional reps and they just had that role shook up... so this is a new facet in some of the delays possibly.

I’m not super comfortable with my ETA either. It moved from 11/4 on and on until my current of 12/11. Union Pacific helpline says it’s still in Detroit but VinView has updated a few different locations and I got both Flat Rock and Blue Island, Chicago locations today (which is a place trucks commonly sit for weeks).
Rail trip started/rail estimated arrival are the status updates

All just odd. I built, waiting for shipment, and we’re going to the same place.

I’m interested to see if it really shipped! I was off-site on chip hold (at rail yard?)… that could have helped for quick ship?
