My order was placed August 4th and a VIN received September 15th with a Production Schedule for the week of October 17th. Like most of you I continued to get bumped from this initial date. First to November 2nd then to November 10th. So what happens next is that my Raptor entered Production on October 31st with a Window Sticker generated and a Blend Date of November 7th. I'm certainly not complaining just wondering if anyone else here has had this happen? Seems like Ford does not have its ducks lined up when it comes to scheduling production.

There’s are hundreds of posts/threads on this forum in which people share a very similar experience to yours, except about 80% of them got pushed back more times and further down the road than your order

I ordered my Lariat on February 10th. My production date was pushed back 7 times. Now my shipping ranges continue to change. Hold on my friend the ride has just begun.

I had four different build weeks on my MY22. There are some on here that had more than that. I’m also on my second shipment window. Strap in.

Only 1 push for me from the week of 17th to 24th. I guess I got lucky... which is unusual for me as things usually go.

Well, I asked for it! Didn't take long for that bubble to bust. On top of it I also have read that diesel fuel is about to skyrocket in price and the rail workers are rejecting offers and ready to strike. Do you suppose we could convince Ford to start some sort of shuttle service to pickup (pardon the pun) our trucks when built?

For example:
Ford F-150 Ford production dates in disarray? 000 TRANSACTION INFO

It was a bit of a roller-coaster ride but, on the bright side:
  • At 5-1/2 months from order to delivery it was still a bit less than Granger warned me to anticipate when I placed the order
  • My truck was delivered exactly as originally ordered (No removals or changes by Ford; I never requested any changes)
  • Price & Financing Rate Protection!
  • Now with ~5 months and ~3900 miles on it I can assure all it was worth the wait, I'm loving my 2022 F150
Hang in there, try not to agonize the scheduling shuffle too much ( :ROFLMAO: yeah, I know that's impossible, BTDT).

Wishing all still waiting the best possible outcomes! :)

It this point, I’m wondering if I will receive a 2022 in 2023. ? My truck ordered in February is still in production (chip hold) since October 6.

Wishing you to not wait as long as me.

Same here. Two bumps back then one bump forward. I'm not complaining.

My Raptor order rescheduled 5 times so far, next attempt at build is 11-21. My original 22 order was 12-28-21.

It is to be expected with all the additional items and special packages on trucks. With my first truck the only option was the AM/FM radio. Not too difficult to schedule production when the trucks used the same engines and same wiring harness and same cab configurations (no massage seats or heated seats or heated steering wheels, or air conditioned seats).

The car companies make too much profit from these "extras" and so the production is greatly complicated as a result. With Toyota they made a much higher level of base vehicle so there were very few options and production was much easier to schedule and parts easier to manage. That is true today with the Toyota pickups that come at the base level with many items that require a special package from the other manufacturers.

I ordered my Lariat Sport, fully loaded in December, 2021. A few delays in production and finally went into production on March 21, 2022. Still waiting on mine. Chip hold is what I’m told. I’m very close to cancelling my order and starting over with 2023. Frustrated beyond belief.

What the hell. Have you contacted anyone. This is absurd the amount of time you have been on chip hold. I’m on chip hold but only since 8/11. I would be raising holy hell

I’m in constant contact with the dealer. The GM is a friend of mine. Ford is not very forthcoming with details. I’ve called but only get the general customer service team and they don’t seem to be much help. Any ideas on who else to call or who to ask for when I get the general support team?

I would do everything I could to get that MY22 truck. It’ll have less deletes and cost you a lot less. I’m sure it’s incredibly frustrating. But if you order a 23, the price increases can be as much as 10k+. Lariats seem to have gotten the steepest price increases out of all models
