Chip hold My22 & My23

Question for those ex-Chip Hold Club members who have taken delivery of their trucks, any issues from sitting in a storage lots for months? Flat spots on tires, rusty rear end, industrial fallout paint issues or anything else that the rest of us should look for when our trucks show up?

My truck was in production for 7 months and everything looks and seems fine.

I have had no such issues, it’s nice to see that they are now treating the underside of the truck - no rust, compared to the 2021’s.

The only issue I’ve had is a run in the paint on the roof, in between the Windshield and sunroof, approximately in the middle of the vehicle, so make sure to inspect the roof once you get your truck - it’s going in this week to get this flatted down, then I can finish the ceramic coating and PPF, as the roof is the only thing left to do.

Bed rug ... I did cover up the work surface ... , but ... I was ... enjoy[ing]the padding on the tail gate way more than I'll use the work surface.

Bingo. Cover it and easily uncover it when needed.

Found out this morning I finally hit "built" status. Just a while ago I hit "shipped" status. Hopefully it arrives last week of October to Granger. My modules also updated today to show around 1800 versus the 991 it had shown since blend date. Still waiting on the "shipped" email from Ford. Hope this gives some fellow 8/29 build week folks some good luck heading into the week!

I’m at over 16 days waiting shipping, this is almost worst than stuck in production. My dealer is just down I-96 at Hines Park Ford, less than 45 minutes away from Dearborn.

hurry up damnit!!! The only thing keeping me sane now is my Z plan discount and price protection from February.

Called Ford for an update on my order as my ETA window ends 10/18 and it came as no surprise that they pushed the ETA out a few days. I asked the person I was speaking to if there was a way to speak to someone who was in a position that would be able to identify what's causing the hold up on my order? Their response to my question was that it is possible but since it has "Chip Hold" on the order it will be tossed in a queue and it will not be acknowledged or even looked at by anyone. I guess I'll just go F myself and wait another two weeks to be told I need to wait another two weeks and repeat the process over again.

Talked to the New Vehicle Support line today, got a case number assigned. Not expecting that to be helpful as some others have also done that. One piece of helpful information was they said to call my dealer and get my Priority Code changed. It hasn't been updated since I placed my order, so it's currently at 19. They said the dealer can update this to as high as a 10. Anything better than that (lower number) has to be done by the factory (?). I thought I've read where dealers have made the priority code better than a 10, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, it's worth a try.

Did you and @869 get the shipped emails? From what I understand they put your truck in "ship mode" and my FordPass activation is still in pending status. Given that and the fact I don't have the "shipped" email from Ford, I'd have to guess I'm still sitting at Flat Rock.

Yep mine was pushed from the 18th to the 20th. So mine also will get pushed to who knows when at the end of the week

I was told the 20th as well but I know full well that it will be pushed to Nov 4th. I'm going to guess that its not going to arrive anytime before Thanksgiving.

The order track number went up a little too. Which I don't get. If no new vehicles are rolling off the line how does that number go up?

The vehicles being built next week are going into production status as soon as they invoice them. So your going to see it go up
