See attached. The module # is listed on the left. 720s are the holy grail of modules right now.

I have had my 720 modules since August 29th. Been on chip hold since. What modules are more holy than those that will get my truck delivered?

I guess I'm just a "the glass is half full" guy. Ford will get me my truck as soon as they can. They haven't been paid and they want to get paid.

Recently watched a video showing the Super Duties at KenTRUCKY Speedway. It estimated 40,000 trucks @ $50,000. That's two billion dollars or more in inventory. Ford isn't holding back on anyone. This undelivered inventory is costing them a ton of money.

I'm often struck by the amount of capital sitting in open parking lots. Maybe we shouldn't spend so much on vehicles we use so little?

I think everyone is just excited to get their vehicle. And I do wish that Ford was more transparent about what it going on and had a system in place to A)let customers know how close they are to finished and what they are waiting on and B)finish the vehicles in the order they were placed instead of randomly finishing nearly identical vehicles in the wrong order. These crappy ETAs and “in production” for months seems silly for all the technology we have.

This. If we only had both transparency and prioritizing of customers who have been waiting the longest, most rational people are willing to give Ford the benefit of the doubt and maintain brand loyalty.

The problem is that none of the other manufacturers are doing much better, so there is no competition to drive a better customer experience.

Let's hope the numbers on Order Track start dropping quickly for those held by badges only. It would also be nice to see a graph of vehicles in status over the past 30 days. I think that would be an interesting metric.

Well after a week, I have moved from built to in transit.
I would like to track the rail car, but how do I get the number?

Ford chat most of the time is just useless.

You can call CSX or Union Pacific tracking and search for the rail car. Sorry, I'm on my phone or I would locate a link for you. I know there posts about this on both the F-150 and Raptor forums.

Not defending anybody, but having run a publicly traded company before, often times the perception of too little communication from a company is the direct result of a combination of trigger happy lawyers who want to sue you for anything, everything, and nothing and difference in perspective of just how complicated running a business at scale and communicating with stakeholders really is. I'm quite certain Ford executives are not sitting in a dark board room looking for ways to communicate less with paying customers.

I'm right there with you sitting on chip hold, but I'm positive management would rather sell me my truck and have me admire it in my garage than they tie up their working capital on inventory parked in a lot.

I'm in a very different non manufacturing industry but am still routinely frustrated by post COVID supply chain challenges here in the US and around the globe. This business environment is unusually difficult across the board.

68 days and counting...
Wow, it's been about 34 for me. That's terrible, you'd think they'd flag trucks down for being that late automatically. I'm hoping when 23 builds start they will clear out 22s first

You and me both. I've seen people with build dates after mine get shipped, meanwhile I'm sitting here waiting, not so patiently.

I'm really regretting selling my 2019 early and losing a vehicle. I enjoyed that truck, and this whole process has soured me on the new one so far. I hope if/when it arrives I'll feel differently.

This does not make sense to me. It's one thin to be on production hold waiting for chips, emblems or something else, but to be on shipping hold, why? It's not like it is different than any other truck that has to ship.

Is your truck being built in KC and not Dearborn, because that would be even worst if it is just down the road.
