They probably knew you on a first name basis at some point during thatFinally got acknowledgement from chat after checking every day since my 8/23 blend date that I am on a chip hold and have been since 8/24. They were still very convinced that it would arrive at my dealer between 9/6 and 9/12......HAHA.
What trim is it and does your tracker correspond with that? Showing built/shipped etc?My latest...
Per FORD CHAT....
It looks like your Ford 2022 F-150 is in Transit. The vehicle has been built and is being transported from the plant to the Dealership.
Latest update is that it went through Muncie, KS anticipated to be delivered at your ordering Ford Dealership between Sep-20--26-2022. It's on Railcar # TTGX992333 (Norfolk Southern Corp ).
Well see....
It is kinda a game. Some days it is in production, some days it was produced, one day it was on its way to the dealer. Only got confirmation it has been on chip hold since 8/24 today. They probably knew you on a first name basis at some point during that

I actually emailed 3 executives yesterday. Same concern. Same build week and 8/12 blend date. No response yet. Thanks for posting this. Any info is good info.Joining in here after following for a few months, stalking more recently.. but figured I could (try) and give some insight on the holds. There was a previous post, I can no longer find, where someone mentioned contacting 3 Ford executives for information.. well I decided to send over an email on 9/1 and you can see the response below (they also called me and left a voicemail, but I was working and couldn't answer).
For some background, I was on chat 8/25 and connected to the most helpful agent - Finally! They made me aware my truck was on a chip hold as of 8/12, sent me the contact info for the "new vehicle support team" and opened a case with number for my experiences with Ford through this order process. My case was explicitly for the lack of communication from Ford to not just me, but also my dealership; I word it this way because my dealership was also unable to tell me I was on a chip hold until this time in August when we conversed and they confirmed, also the lack of clarity the other chat agents had about that previously.. like why could no one tell me that my truck was on chip hold as of 8/12? I was reaching out to see if there was shipping progress, build completion progress, asked specifically about chip hold.. got nothing, for 2 weeks. All in all, I was reaching out regarding the opened case to see what, if anything, was being done while also slipping in an inquiry about my order.
To wrap up, I saw a couple posts from different threads, one saying chip delivery was expected around 9/3 and that there would be an update on a member's chip held order on 9/10.. so hopefully chip purgatory being cleansed sometime starting this week. Per the response I received below, my order is expected to come off chip hold next week (build week 8/8, blended 8/11), so theoretically if they are going by hold age, hopefully some folks in the earlier build weeks will start to finish soon and then move towards the most recent build weeks.
Sorry for the exhaustive first post.... and thanks to everyone on here for all the different info and stories to keep me from feeling like I was completely in the dark this whole time during my first custom order, appreciate ya'll.
