Congrats! With all the talk about possible missing options, have you noticed anything missing that you were expecting or any standard Limited features removed?

Gorgeous truck. Thought it was black in your "on the truck" photos. Really excited for my antimatter blue plat.

I Havent noticed anything other than the standard items ford removed from the 22s. one thing i did not know the truck had and aparently is new for the 22s is there is a kick button on the power deploy running boards to deploy them. I did find that very interesting.

yeah the truck looks black until you get the right lighting and I could not be happier with that color choise even know smoked quarts is another sharp looking color. I am going to get it ceramic coated and that will be interesting to see the difference.

I was also a bit disappojnted to see some of the nice standard things missing like the ambient light in the front cup holders. First-world problems, right! ? I also really like my antimatter blue - was concerned at first about it looking too black, but then the light hits it right and it pops!

It's such a shame many of the trucks being built now have to delete the very features that are the reasons we're buying the trucks. I feel very fortunate my truck has all the options I ordered.

2019 Raptor, 2022 Lariat on order
After expecting more delays, mine went from chip hold to delivered very quickly. I noticed that the 754 module went live on the 24th and the Ford Pass activation option showed up. My dealership notified me that it was built on the 25th with a projected delivery date from the 2nd to the 8th. It showed up at the dealership on the 2nd but still had 2 active recall notices - steering column wiring and trailer brake controller update. They took care of both of them that day and I picked it up on the morning of the 3rd.

I spent yesterday and the night before prepping and ceramic/graphene coating it after removing the sport stickers from the bed. Also installed the tonneau from my '19 and added the husky wheel well liners in addition to tinting the windows. 650 miles on it so far and need to put 1000 on before the weekend so I can tow my boat. So far, I'm averaging about 23 mpg.

The only issue I've had so far is that bluecruise won't go hands free. From what I've been able to determine, it looks like the maps expired on 3/14 and it needs an update before it will work. Iv'e got auto updated and an update schedule set in the sync system and it's been connected to my home network the last couple of days. I'm hoping it corrects itself soon without needing a trip to the dealership.

Ford F-150 01/24/2022 Build Week 2022lariat

Won't be ready for me until next week but I stopped and checked out payload. 1444lbs will work for my towing without having to modify the travel trailer.

Salesman said they needed weekend to do updates including the BlueCruise update.

Congrats! Interesting about the payload figure; I have the exact same number on my truck but no BlueCruise and no tow mirrors. I wonder if I have something that you don't have, or if they just don't account for minor differences like the mirror and BlueCruise component weight.

First guess would be moon roof...none here. 502A, FX4, Max Tow, PowerBoost, Bed Utility, Copilot 360 Active, 360 Camera. Using 2021 Ford eSource Book Publication for Option Weight, I had calculated a payload of 1405 lbs so I was happy to see I was in the ballpark.

My truck has been sitting at the railyard in Wentzville, MO, 58 miles from my dealership, for 2 weeks now. I talked to Ford Chat today and was told it is on Plant Hold. Any ideas on what that could mean? Just waiting on a transport truck or something else?

Is there still a method to track rail shipments? My 6/10 estimated delivery date was pushed to 6/19 per Ford chat this afternoon. But they did give me some rail info. # AOK 502744 (Norfolk Southern Corp ). Just curious if anyone has run into a public means of using this information. Thanks!

It took me a while to find my post about how to track a Norfolk Southern railcar. Here's the info:

The toll-free number is 1-800-635-5768

Select Option 2 for Intermodal and then Option 2 again for Tracing

When prompted, enter the railcar number. First the alpha characters (using the number keys) followed by an #

Then enter the numeric characters followed by an #

The automated system will tell you either where the car is or where it was last tracked.

Cheers!

Awesome thank you very much RalpL. Guess I'll be dialing this number here and there.

The message I received was "Intermediate arrival on train, Oakwood Michigan, June 10th 6:29pm"

I'm guessing this just means the cart is hanging out near Detroit? The time stamp seems interesting as 6/10 was the last day of the delivery estimate range Ford provided.

Out with the old, in with the new:
Ford F-150 01/24/2022 Build Week Lariats

Battery was not anchored, positive terminal was loose, fuses were not seated. I don't know how to tell if the battery is new or is one of the transport batteries used to shuffle cars around Detroit. 58 miles on the truck. No issues on the drive home (all of 1.3 miles)...

Congrats on the new truck. I am suprised the dealer didn't check the battery terminals and to see if the battery was anchored. how the rust on the rear end?

Thanks for the reminder on the fuses I totally forgot about that. ibjust went andd just checked the fuses and they where not seated all the way and I had a relay that was not seated correctly.
