4/18/22 Build Week

Hey guys - Sorry for being late to the party here. I ordered on 1/17 and my build date was on 4/23. Currently the ordertracker.app site says my vehicle status is "Paired". Does that mean I am not on any sort of chip hold?

I looked at the modules but I am unsure what I am looking for. Thanks!

" Your vehicle will be picked and paired once the shipping provider readies your vehicle for transport. Once the status enteres dispatched, your vehicle is being picked up and in transit at which point the next status will be delivered. "

so thats usually from the plant to the railyard or trucking co

Looks like my status is updated to "delivered" on ordertrack.app. It says it is convoy and I have a freight ID. Any way for me to track it from here?

Any idea of the % of this group who’ve been shipped? I had a 4/15 blend and 4/20 production and have been on chip hold for a little while. I have lots of chip modules populated, but not sure if I’m still missing some.

Ok. Sounds like we’re both on the same timeline, but I got mixed messages from Ford. When I called. They said July 26-Aug 1st estimated delivery. But when I chatted with Ford, they said the Aug 1st date is the estimated date I’d come off the chip hold and my build would be complete.

Is anyone managing a spreadsheet for our build week similar to the ones in other threads? It’d be nice to see how the group is progressing through the process.

Ok. Sounds like we’re both on the same timeline, but I got mixed messages from Ford. When I called. They said July 26-Aug 1st estimated delivery. But when I chatted with Ford, they said the Aug 1st date is the estimated date I’d come off the chip hold and my build would be complete.

Dude it depends who you talk to. You could ask the same question and get two totally different answers. At least they are consistently inconsistent. I just find it funny how I went from being delivered end of May to being delivered August now in a matter of days. How could you be months off and not know it? Pretty sure all of us coming out of Dearborn are getting fucked by lightnings right now.

Has anyone heard about them deleting features off of the trucks to get them out?I knew about the start/stop and possibly max recline. But, now I’m hearing they may have deleted the multi contour seats and something to do with the 360 cameras. My fear is our trucks may come in without these features and we have to buy it at either a small discount or turn it down. I don’t mind a few changes but if you delete to much it’s no longer worth the money in my opinion. Just wanted to see if what I am hearing is rumors or if our blend date is even impacted.

Good question and not sure. Ford told me my build was completed on 5/16 (roughly 3 week production), so it’d be odd if they went back and changed out seats and things. Maybe it will impact trucks going onto the assembly line moving forward? But totally agree, once they start removing a bunch of items/features, they need to more than make up for it.

Good point the ones that have the built confirmation or check mark probably have nothing to worry about. The ones like me that have not received either of those are the ones I’d be more concerned about.
