I had your built date as 5/12 and dealer delivery date of 5/19 with delivery ETA recently pushed out to 7/21.

Beautiful truck! I originally had an AMB Lariat w/ Chrome Pack on order but didn't want to wait. It looks so sharp though! I also really like the lighter interior and headliner, and I wish ALL of these trucks came with the column shifter like your XLT. The console shifter is NOT an upgrade, especially when it has to be equipped with a gimmicky folding feature to utilize the work surface. Anyway, enjoy your truck!

EDIT: Just noticed part of your moonroof trim seems to be sagging. Hoping you already noticed, and I'm not just the bearer of bad news.

@thebigdu Thanks for the catch, it was a quick fix. I've been busy getting to know everything else and didn't even notice. I'm liking the AMB, especially with the chrome package. It's kind of like having two different trucks depending on the sun level. I've seen a lot of varied opinions on console vs column shifters, but I'm definitely partial to the column shifter. I had it on my '13 and glad I was still able to get it for the '22. Overall, I'm really impressed with the truck so far.

Sure, I have no problem /w celebrating the win of people getting their truck. However, if they are going to post fun updates as you put it they should also respond to questions others have posted about the status of their builds.

Questions have been ignored, most likely because answering questions and delivering bad news is difficult, however positing fun updates is well....fun and easy.

You get updates? Last email I received from Ford was back in November when they gave me my build week.

Last email I had was the "In order to ensure your complete satisfaction (ha) we are delaying your build...."

I did an online chat w/ Ford and they have said 7/18 as the ETA. You know a few days before the 2023 order banks open, when I ordered the first week the 2022 banks were open. Amazing.

I couldn't agree with you more. It used to be Quality is Job 1 never was it communication. Just remember though every time you complain on this sight Ford moves your delivery date back 3 days. (jk) Put on that happy face.?

I actually wouldn't doubt it. I was joking that Ford got my truck to the front of the line, said oh its that Jeff guy and then pushed it to the back corner of the lot while also deflating the tires.

That said, Ford has a real problem on their hands. I had a sales guy saying 3 months no problem when I placed the order. I wasnt the only one that heard that pitch. Meanwhile Ford has no realistic ETA of when my truck may show up. It's been almost 7 months since my order date and they are sending other trucks down the line while mine sits.

Now they are force deleting options to get people trucks and refunding them a fraction of what they charged for the options. Order a platinum? Get Lariat seats and $365 for your trouble? Yeah right.

They can blame COVID/Supply Chain/Earthquakes at Chips Plants, whatever. I don't dispute they have faced challenges we have never seen. However the reality is they have handled these challenges terribly.

3 days?,…I doubt that. In my experience it has been 3 months (after 2.5 months and after 3 weeks prior to that). In my estimation I suspect that I will either be last in our group or possibly second to last.

Funny, I was actually referring to you. I think Thundnblunder from the build week prior may also be in the race with us.
I truly don’t know what they expect; who wouldn’t be pissed at this stage.
I just corresponded with someone from the 02/28 build week that just had their Platinum delivered. Sounds like his truck was loaded, so I’m at a complete loss as to what‘s going on. Their may be some truth in it. If so, it’s pretty sad.
