Is this your 2nd chip window?

Yea. Originally, just after my blend, I was told pending shipment, then 2 days later I was told I was on chip hold with 4/27-5/3 completion while the Marketing and my dealer said those dates were eta for delivery. Today I couldn’t resist chatting and she told me it was bumped, but it doesn’t really look like they have any clue at all, just throwing out dates a couple weeks out

I am on my second hold as well, supposed to end on Friday 5/6 don't have any high hopes of that. Chat yesterday was worthless, waited 46 minutes to talk to someone then they told me all they could see, the truck was on chip hold, no status up update that hold was over and it would be delivered 5/6. I told them thats 4 days no way possible, I said when did the chip hold come off, she said she can't see that information. Contacted dealer for VVR, chip hold. So who knows if or when they will actually get shipped.

I am getting a platinum, but it is a bare bones platinum, been trying to figure out what the holdup is, are most of you getting platinums or what?

Mine is a Platinum, but I’ve seen quite a few Platinums received by people in the last couple of weeks.

I think we just need to start bombarding them on Twitter and Sofia Media. If they don’t want to communicate with us, let’s put it all out more publicly

Mine is a Platinum as well, VVR shows shipping delay, truck has been built and sitting since 3/23 with no change at all delivery date has been pushed back on mine three times now.

Just for kicks (and self torture), I went on Chat and asked if my truck had actually shipped since I got the "Shipped" email or was it really just in the same spot as when I got the "Built" email. I was told: "Yes it shipped to Melvindale and is on a ramp." Melvindale is only about 2 miles (as the bird flies) from the plant, the wrong direction. So I asked if it was still going by Convoy-"Yes, it went by convoy to Melvindale." Is it waiting for a train in Melvindale? "I don't have any information, but it did ship to Melvindale." My gut is that while my WS says Convoy, it is probably getting shipped by rail as there is a huge rail yard. Couldn't even tell me what ramp it is on.

I am not even entertaining chatting with Ford. I don't know what is going one and why some trucks are getting shipped but I am right on the cusp of moving on. Trucks like mine are sitting on lot across my state (WI) but mine is stuck in limbo. Maybe I should just go buy one of those. It is really looking like they are shipping to the lots and holding our. I don't know why they would do that, but tell me something else I would believe. Mine is still stuck in production and not even fighting the shipping battle yet. Sigh. I am done ranting. Sorry all. I know we are all in the some boat.

If your WS says convoy, then it goes by rail from melvindale to a lot near your dealer and then gets a convoy truck for the last leg to the dealer. Some are waiting on trains at melvindale for a day and some for weeks, just depends. Good luck

Yea the conflicting info is annoying. My dealer has a couple other platinum BAPs on order that when I look them up have been awaiting shipping since March. The days waiting just go by so damn slow and I woke up this morning excited because yesterday I was told

I’ve said it plenty, but they shouldn’t mark it as shipped until it’s actually on a train.

The marketing department at Ford would substantially improve their Customer Satisfaction on ordered vehicles if they would limit their communications. They should really only send out 4 emails for an ordered vehicle. The 1st email should simply acknowledge the order (Ford seems to be doing this mostly right now). The 2nd email should assign VIN (I don't think Ford should include the estimate date of production since it usually is changed anyway). The 3rd email should simply state that the vehicle has entered production & provide a link to the window sticker. The 4th email should say that the vehicle has been shipped & share that under the current transport climate, that shipping may take up to 60 days.

Of course you all know, if Ford did just this, I would probably be complaining because they just won't tell me more right!

Or just give us access to the VVR that the dealer has. It would save me a lot of back and forth with my dealer and the chat.

Just spoke with chat. They have bumped back my delivery window again. Every communication is just a bump out to a few more days. However, it is just sitting at Ramp 58.

Hey All! New and sharing my details as I’m in the same boat as many of you…

- 502a ordered mid-December. Mostly has every option, importantly BlueCruise 2.0 and 360 cam.
- 3.21 build date, has a chip hold and my delivery window has been bumped twice. Now May 6.

First time Ford buyer, and likely my last time. Canceled a Mach-E order. Have an iX queue where most people are hitting delivery windows on the money, and convoys are getting booked from Long Beach within 1 week of boat arrival. Really frustrated with this whole process. Solidarity forever with my fellow chip hodlers.

Just happened to check my Window Sticker on a whim and for some reason it updated to 5/3 on the bottom. For the last 5 weeks it has updated every Thursday evening like clockwork. The sudden change is odd
