It can be used as an indicator that your vehicle is being put through production and having the various chip sets installed, and software loaded into the truck. Once you input your Vin Number, it will list out a whole bunch of numbers (100's of lines) in numerical order. If you scroll down the list, you will see the various modules. "754" would be the first 3 digits of the line. I'm not a technical person so i'm sorry I can't provide you any more information than that. Others on here will do a much better job of explaining. What is this? How do we use the info?
Thanks! I really like it. It is a richer silver than some others out there, as people have said on here. Looks great with the sport package accents, and I'm sure it'll be nice with chrome, too, if that's your setup.Congrats! What do you think of the iconic silver in person? Looks good in your pics. I have that same color on my 502a getting delivered next week.
Picked up the truck earlier today, it's absolutely great. Hope the rest of y'all get your trucks soon.Talked to my salesman, it just rolled off the truck. Picking it up tomorrow. Pictures to follow.
Good to hear. I have the sports package too. Forgot to ask about your opinion of the interior. How’s the brown/red accents? My truck is only 4 hours away but will not be delivered until mid-week. I’m out of town next week so it doesn’t matter to me.Thanks! I really like it. It is a richer silver than some others out there, as people have said on here. Info looks correct to me. I don’t think any of us know exactly what the modules are related to on the truck, but a guy on the forum (I believe his name is Stans2000 or something like that) researched a bunch of completed and on hold trucks. He concluded that the 754 module seemed to be missing from the trucks on hold. The post was quite a few pages back in this thread. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong on this.It can be used as an indicator that your vehicle is being put through production and having the various chip sets installed, and software loaded into the truck. good stuff sir.754 is the Telematic Control Unit Module (TCU). It's basically a modem that gets OTA updates, how FordPass connects to your vehicle as well as the hotspot some folks use. It is located on the passenger side/middle of the truck behind the back seats attached to the rear cab wall.
Didn’t think so just checked and it has!!!did module 754 get installed yet? https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
And I just saw my activate button exists now!!!! I’m getting excited.did module 754 get installed yet? https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt
Hopefully it won't take too long for you. I've had the activate button in my app since mid February and still no truck. Having said that I just checked the official Ford tracker and while that still says In Production, the Order Track app changed today to Awaiting Shipment and vehicle status ASN. I'm not getting my hopes up too much but maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel. And I just saw my activate button exists now!!!! I’m getting excited.
