Have an appointment on Friday and can't decide if I just go 20% on front windows, or go 35% over rear windows and 15% on front windows. I do not like limo tint, but thinking maybe the back could be a tad darker.....Thoughts or pics anyone?? I am not worried about the police or anything like that.

I'm in the same situation, I was going to do 20% all around 70% on the windshield and pano moonroof (I know the concerns of cracking, I live up north). But I'm thinking that may not be dark enough. I've seen that people are saying the back windows are about 20% and looking at them in person you can still see inside during the day quite a bit. I also want to make sure both the front and back passenger windows match. Any pics or suggestions from people who have done their tint would be appreciated.

Yeah I know what you mean about the rear windows not being quite dark enough, that is why I think I am leaning towards the 35% over it and then doing 15% on sides....I think it would be a pretty good match.

If I were to put 20% over all 4 windows will the back still be darker than the front? That's another question I would like answered because I've seen other people post on here saying they did 20% all around and never complained about it not matching.

Yes from what I have seen the 20% over the factory 20% would bring you to about 5% so it would for sure be darker than the front 20% if you went that route. I think even 35% on the rears would be too dark to match 20% on the front which is why I will probably go with 15% on the front.

Thanks, for the advice. Still would like to see some pics from others. Do you have a pano moonroof and do you plan on tinting it? I'm also doing ceramic tint all around.

I'm probably going to get mine all redone. Got the fronts to match and it's too light for me. I've had 15% on my other vehicles and like it a lot, wouldn't mind a bit darker even. Depends on the shop but I can't find a shop near me that does sunroofs because they're scared it will break it.

That's 20% Llumar tint, it's not ceramic. It's a fantastic tint but if you want heat repelling it's not the same level as ceramic. And 15% eyebrow.

With how many of the 14 gen's that we have had go through the shop, I would just do 20% all the way around. Depending on what the exact shops 20% film meters at. You could be looking at anywhere from a 17% - 23% usually. Laying that over the back factory tint gets it closer to a 8-10% so its not quite limo tint but dark enough for most people. Its what 99% of our customers do here. From there depending on where you live and the cops in the area, I would even consider tinting the entire front windshield to block out more heat and just darken those fronts a smidge more.

that's unfortunate, sunroofs are usually the flattest piece of glass and easiest to tint on some vehicles.
