So this is how I decipher that:

10/02: Order Date
03/07: Build Week
03/10: Blend date (build date)

All of this should be fine as long as there aren't any micro chip shortages during your build week.

I'm not saying it's going to be delayed. But you shouldn't hold your breath. Trucks built and delivered on schedule is a unicorn these days.
I agree.
March 10th should be your build/blend date where the parts for your truck meet on the assembly line. So I would think you should be able to see your window sticker this Thursday most likely

https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=1ftfw1e80nfa82958

just copy this link and paste it in a browser. Delete my VIN and replce it with yours. It shpuld ask if you want to download the file again...click yes and it should pull up your window sticker if available. If you don't download again it will just pull up the last window sticker file you downloaded.

This is my struggle. The links open these Abode Acrobat pages for me.

I'm not seeing anywhere I can edit the VIN?

The place to enter your VIN is in the website address itself:

https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=PLACE YOUR VIN HERE

Click the link. Once that page opens, go into the address bar and enter your VIN after the "=" sign then hit search or enter.

This is mine: https://www.windowsticker.forddirect.com/windowsticker.pdf?vin=1FTEW1EP3NFA74453

Copy and paste in your browser, then delete my VIN - 1FTEW!EP3NFA74453 and replace it with yours. Then hit enter. If you get the same white page that says Please check back later, that means your sticker isn't available yet.

On the web page itself, there isn't anywhere to enter your information.

For what it's worth, my truck has been in production since Feb 3rd and my dealer still doesn't have an ETA date showing in his system.
Yikes that’s brutal! Yeah I am not holding my breath at all. The only thing that has me hopeful is that there is a delivery date ETA and I ordered as soon as 22 banks opened so it seems things are progressing in the right direction at least

Mine has been in production since Jan 13. People should be setting themselves up for a wait of at least 4-6 months. If anyone gets their truck quicker than that, consider it a bonus

What do you mean by “in production” like it just gets stuck on being built for weeks on end? Or did you never get an actual build date and stuff scheduled?

hes stuck waiting for chips. So his truck is in a parking lot somewhere awaiting chips

Makes sense. I’m just curious as to how that shows up then in the dealers system when they track it then, it would just show as “in production” like if my blend date is march 10. And I’m waiting on chips or whatever else is back ordered then say on march 20 . It will still just show as “ in production”? Just trying to prepare myself for when my delays all begin lol. I went like 4 months without being scheduled so I am not sure how it all works. Since I’ve been scheduled things seem to be on track

There doesn't seem to be any logic to how trucks are being built.

I ordered in August. My order was converted to a '22 in October. My order was selected for scheduling in December with a Feb. 7th blend date.

The problem, as I see it, is the Ford factory isn't necessarily updating the progress of each order. Your dealer will have a Vehicle Visibility Report where he or she can check the status. Normally, if a truck is in production but something is holding it up, like micro chips, his or her report would show that truck has a "chip hold" placed on it. My order doesn't have any holds that show.

Basically, we are flying blind and there isn't anything we can do about it.

Thanks for the clarification. That makes more sense. I have a 15 fusion I’m driving rn that’s still in good shape so I have not been in a rush to get the truck. I started getting my hopes up a bit early though I think soon as I received these dates so I won’t be holding my breath for now until I see something is atleast officially built and not just in production forever the way yours has been
