I'm new to the forum just wanted to post my new project and introduce myself. So far I've lowered the truck, wheels/tires, intake, exhaust, sway bars, paint matching, and some other little things. I'm here to find like minded people who maybe able to help with any questions I may have, also feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Looks good. Have a Black 4X4 with FX4 that will be an ongoing project. Wanting to lower(yea I know it's 4X4) the rear to get rid of the INSANE rake and maybe drop the front an inch. Don't want to slam it, but make it handle better. Roush is on the way along with rear shackles. In the monsoon season this week so it's filthy but here is a pick of the first mod.

I used to scoff at people "lowering a 4x4" until I drove my new 5.0 RCSB 4x4 in Sport Mode.

Now I get it!

What lowering kit did you go with? Truck looks great and might be going you soon with the same type of build.

VAS 3/5 kit. Viking coils upfront, flip kit in rear. Never lowered a truck before (lifted a few) and it was a super easy install by myself. The adjustability w the Vikings is super cool for ride quality. Also I recommend the vas shock relocation kit to have the shock at a better angle for ride quality as well. Hope that helps.

Hows the VAS kit so far? some have complained, not necessarily the VAS kit, but the axle flip the truck bottoms up really easily?

I like the kit, but.... The truck definitely slams on rough bumps to where it's uncomfortable. I did order a bag set up for the rear I hope helps with what we are talking about.

Like minded person here for sure. I bought my RCSB on 12/18. I have a 3/5 performance drop kit from IHC that is getting installed on 2/21. Exhaust is already done. The wheels I’m putting on are 22x9.5 30mm offset with 285/45/22 tires.

Looking forward to seeing how your build progresses!

Mines bottoms out but the funny thing is with 2 50lb bags of sand in the back it rides smoother

I'm not sure it's bottoming out or if it's just that rough. I had the truck on the lift two days ago and I didn't see any indication the bump stops were hitting the rear.
I just ordered IHC helper bag for lowered trucks, and vas shock relocation brackets so I'm hoping that helps w the rear. Also tuner is ordered too!

The helper back kit has changed the ride quality of the truck exponentially. It is so much better to drive... I keep 12 psi in the bags when I don't have anything in the truck. I also added airlift Bluetooth air compressor which adds to the ease of changing bag pressure right from my cell phone. Tuner is in the truck too and I'm really happy with how the truck feels all around from performance to ride quality.
