Thought there was - will add it. A Built Date column is much better than a Chip Hold column! ?

Take a look at the Spreadsheet for Build Week 1/10/2022. Not many have a "Tracker Built Date" & none have shipped, mostly due to Chip Hold.

Based on mine, sounds like your Truck was finished being built today (new window sticker date) except for the Chip Hold. Once the Chip is installed I expect we will have a "Built" date. Have you checked to see if Sync 4 is active for your truck?

That’s the Million dollar question there. How long does it take to get out of chip hold phase.

Just got home and catching up on the forum. I literally just read the Week 1/10 thread before looking at ours and was astonished how many are on chip hold!

In fact, I removed my laughing emoji from my one posting. ?

Just checked the Ford tracker and the New Vehicle Guide button now shows above the Owner Registration button. Any little sign of progress is welcome! When I press that button and then the Guided Virtual Tour button it says, "Congratulations on your new 2022 Ford F-150! Now that you’ve got the keys, our vehicle experts are standing by for assistance as you explore the new features your vehicle has to offer."

It's starting to seem real now! I didn't do anymore after that because they want you to be sitting in the vehicle for the 30-minute session.

Good evening! I just updated the sheet to add a Tracker Built Date column as suggested by @stans2000 and I put the Chip Hold column back in after reviewing the Build Week 1/10 folks where it seems like most of them are on chip hold. The only one in our group I'm aware of on a chip hold is @stans2000 although it doesn't seem to affect his Delivery ETA. At some point I can get rid of the extra Delivery ETA columns once we all get back to reasonable dates.

How are folks able to know they are on chip hold? Are they calling Ford and being told that and, if so, are they certain "chip hold" isn't just a catch phrase being used cover for lack of shipping resources?

We’ll if ford marketing and dealer is stating the same “microchip hold” answer, that’s what I’m assuming it is.

I went to the dealership today and I saw 1st hand the Vehicle Visibility Report and it said Chip Hold.

My build week was 1/24 and my Wendell’s sticker blend date shows 1/30. Here I am on 1/29 and So far no delivery date in the tracker. Still TBD. does it look like I’m on chip hold?

anyway I can check somewhere? Also how much more time you think will be added??

Your dealer can see the most information. But if you look up ford marketing and contact that number they’ll tell you the status of the truck.

This could be a sign, but we won't know until you find out from your Dealer what the Vehicle Visibility Report says. Today would be a great day to find out. Just checked my tracker this morning and the "New Vehicle Guide" button now shows.

After seeing yesterday the # of trucks from Build Week 1/10/2022 on a Chip Hold, I definitely think it would be helpful to the Tracker for everyone to get confirmation from their dealer one way or the other.
