@22XLT Grats on the pickup! Great looking truck!

I couldn't wait any longer, so I emailed my dealer today for an update. System still shows a build date of 12/22 but he said it has not been marked as complete or shipped yet. So who knows. We'll probably get more information next week.

Im in the same boat. Dealer finally got back to me and they say that it went “to the plant” on the 15th with a scheduled build date of 12/20. There are no other updates in the system. Pending in palsapp, no modules populated, and the Fordpass app just shoWe the standard lightening picture.

That’s the same thing Granger told me as well.

the only thing that has “moved” was the VIN now picked up in FordPass. Can’t activate it obviously, but that happened the day after my build day.

I’m in the 12/20 build week….here’s my info for the list:

XL, destination IA (Granger), ordered 11/26, received email on 12/2 confirming scheduled for production during week of 12/20, received built email confirmation on 12/24, received shipped email confirmation on 12/25. ETA for delivery to Granger is 1/10 - 1/16. If this holds I will be quite pleasantly surprised.

Maybe all of your dealers spec'd 20's instead of the standard 18s.
Regardless, my Lariat with the max tow is coming with 18-inch wheels. Most people want 20s for looks and slightly better handling but I wanted more sidewall then looks.

The XLT with a 302a high and Max Tow comes with 20s.
The XLT base and Max Tow comes with 18's
The Lariat 500a standard and 501a mid with Max Tow come with 18's.
For some reason the Builder does not show a 502a option for the Lariat but I have heard people talking about it.

Wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been wrong. U know what they say about assumptions. I didn’t realize there where multiple 18” options. Of course I haven’t been paying attention to the sport package trucks

What plant was it built at? (11th VIN digit - F = Dearborn, K = Kansas City).

I just cannot understand why it takes 3+ weeks to "produce" a truck. Perhaps it's because of the spray bedliner? I lose interest every day...

When I ordered my Lariat on 09/25/21, I was told by my dealer that the spray-in bedliner would hold things up, so I removed it from the order and am having the dealer do it after delivery. I actually negotiated with them to throw it in for free.

Also, 12/20 is a tough build week because of the holidays and a short week. I got bumped from 12/20 to the week of 01/03/22 and still no build day or window sticker and it's 3 days away. My dealer did warn me that the whole process would take 3-4 months and that's if no shortage of parts. Fun times!

I saw a post where a truck on the 11/29 build week was just shipped a few days ago. No factory liner - dealer liner. I think the factory liner work seems to be keeping up with production and maybe delaying a a day or two. There are other delay issues it seems.

Ordered on August 25th, then converted to a 2022 order on 10/25.

Email from FORD received on 30DEC2021 at 2:52 PM with notification that truck was built,
with estimated delivery to dealership between 08 JAN2022 through 14JAN2022 .

Dealership has confirmed today that it is has left Kansas City, MO and is in transport system.

Anybody else add the upgraded B&O sound system to their Truck? I’m wondering if that could be slowing mine down. Build week of 12/20 but haven’t received an email since then. No modules and not able to track through ford. Still “in production”.

I went with B & O Unleashed. Didn’t seem to raise any red flags with my dealer.
