Called today and they confirmed that I am 'in production'. All though I have not received any other updates, hopefully the next update I get will be 'in transit'.

And now it's back to activate so I guess it times out after a minute or so. By the way do you have a shipping date or ETA on your truck yet?

Nope. Nothing. All I know is the modules have populated and I have the activate button. Been that way since last Tuesday, the 21st.

I haven’t even checked the modules today, still no email from ford. I’ve come to the realization that my truck was probably somewhere along the assembly line, being hastily slapped together when they shut the line down for Christmas. At this point, I’m not expecting an update until January.

Last I heard, I had a 12/21 build date. Modules didn’t pop up when I looked yesterday. So I came to the same conclusion. Probably somewhere going down the line and wasn’t finished before they shut down for the holiday.

I’m in the same boat, I’m almost hoping to hear from my dealer that I got pushed back to second week of Jan to let all the stalled builds pass through.

I’m trying not to think like that. I work construction. If we mail it in before a holiday we just have to fight it later. About the worse we do is slow down

I hope you're wrong. All things considered I'd expect issues to be more likely if they had rushed our builds out the door, which it appears they didn't do.

Ford didn't get where they are by selling their customers slopped together shitboxes. Except for the Pinto. And the Tempo. And the Fiesta.

OK so maybe they did a little bit. But they keep selling trucks for an arm and a leg by giving their customers what they pay for.

Not to burst anyone's bubble here, but mine has been showing as "in production" through what Ford can see for about 3 weeks now. Just don't want anyone to get their hopes up too high, as this designation doesn't really seem to mean anything about where it is in the build process. Ford couldn't tell me anything about where in production/build date, couldn't even tell me build week when I've called. Frustrating for sure...

Yeah, mine went into production on 12/15, and my build date was 12/21, so I was hopeful, but I talked to my dealer today and all he sees is "In Production" still.

For those interested in my locked-in pricing on my 2022 expected to arrive between 01/06 to 01/12. The dealer has me locked in with X-Plan pricing, the Model Year Transition Customer Satisfaction Program (MYCO) of 0%/72 Months and the $1,000 Retail Order Bonus Cash. I opted for the 0%/72 Months instead of the $3,500 PCO with MYCO, because I will save approximately $7,500 in interest over the life of the loan. When possible, I avoid paying for anything without any real value such as interest payments. I had six incentives in the SmartVincent system and he tried different scenarios to see what he could get away with and this was the best outcome.

I was wondering at which point either option would be better. What was the other rate he was offering you? It’s 1.49% with my local CU for 65 months. $7,500 in interest seems high. But I typically pay off vehicles in 2-3 years.
