Just got the email from Ford. My truck has been built!

Eta on delivery Jan 9-15th!

Now to start ordering parts to send to the dealer

When was your build date

It was to be 12/19 from what I was told on 12/18. No idea if that held.

So is the fact that you have this a good sign? I feel kind of left in the dark. This is what my VIN reports as well. Nothing on the trackers except PALS, however dealer is saying it is in production.

I believe this is a "truck will be built" notice, like a VIN and build date, etc. When the modules populate, it is a "truck is built" sign.

What does your VIN say if you try it on the FORD site? I fell (and hope) that I am in the same shoes as you, I just do not have any confirmation.

If anyone wants more info on their builds, and your dealer is not providing you that info, call Ford Marketing at 800-334-4375*. They should be able to provide you with the status on your truck. Note that like any call in service, the knowledge of your caller taker can vary each time. Call each day if you want...

If you do call, see if they can provide a date as to when the tracker will be working. One builder was told 12/28. I was told "not sure - they are working on it". Relay on to the call taker that there are 100's of buyers with custom orders just on this forum that cannot track their trucks, like they could a few weeks back. It seems there are things in this day and age that only get accomplished by complaining.

So I thought you guys would get a kick out of this. I contacted my dealer yesterday evening in regards to my order and the whole price change that Ford announced. To which, they weren't even aware of it yet!

Anyhow, when they checked the order, my sales guy said... hmm, what the heck? Did you order twice?

I had originally ordered my truck on 8/12. To which, they tried submitting the order and was told Ford denied it and requested to resend the order as a 22. To which they did and was confirmed on 10/1.

Turns out, the original order actually went through along with the order for the 22!

Which means there's now 2 identical trucks built, a 2021 and a 2022 going to my dealer. The 21 arriving on 1/6, the 22 doesn't show an arrival date yet. I can track the 21 and that one still shows in production, but I have a window sticker for it built on 11/23.

No idea how that happened, but thought it was pretty funny.

your info on tracking the 21 makes me believe trackers work, but the 22s are held out...plus you can see the 21 window sticker.....hmmmm

Ya man, lol. Even the dealer was left scratching their head on how this happened. Shows Ford is a little disorganized.

And tracking does work for 21s. In fact, on my Ford Pass app, the 21 shows up with a real picture of the truck. The 22 shows up as a Lightning yet.

I asked the dealer if they can obtain a window sticker for the 22, but even they have no access to it. They seem to have just a little more visibility to track orders than we do, but not by much.

Even when I was able to find out where the trucks were before him and pull up information quicker than him shows how this forum is such a big help for us waiting on trucks. Great group of folks all after the common goal of getting our new toys.

Still no word on mine. Was originally scheduled for the week of 12/13, then pushed to week of 12/20. Dealer told me scheduled for 12/22 and then 12/23 when I asked for an update a few weeks later.

No email from ford, no sticker, no palsapp info, no modules, no activate button, nada.

We believe it means the truck powered on and the 4g modem pinged Ford servers at some point
