I'm no expert but I know they operate a cluster of the railway network right around the area the plants are (can find maps of this online), so it wouldn't surprise me if your truck starts its journey on one of their railways and then transfers to something else later down the line. They aren't just a Canadian company, the do operate in parts of the US.

From what I know, they also trade around and share rail cars. So it could be that CN owns the rail car your truck is on however it's being moved by a different railroad. Maybe @TurboToaster can tell us if that's the case or not.

Got a somewhat odd update from my dealer yesterday (I had to ask, of course). I had received the "shipped" e-mail from Ford, with an ETA to the dealer between 12/21 and 12/27. Yesterday, he sent me a screenshot from the "confidential" database that Ford has, and while it still shows "in transit", it now also says "Delay - Conveyance Mechanical Failure (Canadian National Railways)", but they still show the ETA as 12/21 to 12/27.

I guess the train broke? Also, some of you with more railway experience might be able to answer this - any idea why Canadian National Railways would be involved in transporting a truck from Michigan to Arizona?

Im not involved with the railroads. but its just a "company that is based out of Canada. They transport across more than just canada.

So I just checked Pal's App and my status has changed to "Dispatched" I'm guessing that will mean it will be delivered today or tomorrow! That confirms that they do update the status when something happens rather than at a specific time during the day!

did it change from pending straight to departed? I wish mine was on your truck and they just make a pit stop in des moines on the way to MN lol

Incentives question. I qualified for the 21-22 MY conversion $3500 certificate. If dealer is giving me invoice pricing, does this reduce MSRP and Invoice both at $3500? I also received the mailed card from Ford for additional $3000 off where it said it could be combined with other incentives.

Great to get the email but be patient. I got the same email 12/08 and my truck has not shipped yet.

Most of the time you can't combine PCO's - as for how they work you negotiate your price for the truck and then reduce the amount paid by the PCO's.

Correct - I was only talking about PCO's in my comments not retail offers or incentives. I ordered with a $2,500 PCO in Sept - I got converted to a MY22 and I am offered the $3,500 MY conversion PCO - but I'm told I can't stack with the $2,500 PCO I ordered with. I still get the retail incentives. Confusing I know...

Stopped by the dealer and got to see my truck in person! They still have to do PDI and I have to take care of the paperwork tomorrow. Then I can take delivery! I’ll post a clean truck photo tomorrow!

I'm starting to question my delivery date for tomorrow. Palsapp has not changed at all. Not sure if it will change the day that the truck gets loaded and starts moving, or if it changes in advanced. I dont want to wait after Christmas :'( lol (Not really complaining, I know there are people wondering if their truck will even be built yet.)

I listed out the 4 different status options from the Rail yard to Dealerships.
Status:
Null- probably still on the rail or hasn’t shipped yet
Pending-At the rail yard pending a truck assignment
Dispatched- On the truck to your dealership
Delivered- Delivered to Dealership
