Hello all,
Long-ish post, just a heads up. Want to share my set up & seeking some recommendations/advice since picking up my ‘22 Platinum last week. Coming for a ‘15 Platinum.
First thing I wanted to do was level the truck out and throw some 35’s on it. Ended up going with Rough Country’s Forged 3” UCAs & 3” Coilover Strut.
Handling feels much better. Less body roll and sponge-iness compared stock suspension. Much better than the 2.5” puck level I had on my ‘15.
I went with 35x12.50R20 Nitto Mud Grapplers (not everyone’s cup of tea, I know) on stock Platinum wheels.
After speaking with RC’s subpar “support” before ordering their suspension components, they said a 1/4” wheel spacer would suffice in making sure there were no rubbing issues. Not to my surprise, there is some UCA rubbing at full lock - albeit, very minor (see picture).
Recommendations/advice I’m looking for: has anyone had any clearance/rubbing issues with their stock wheels with RC’s 3” UCA’s? If so, what path did you take? I’m continuing to research and there’s an individual with my same set up, but running stock UCA’s with a 0.375” spacer. Thinking of going that route. Thoughts?
Thanks for having me!
