This is a review of the new Wolfbox Super Power Turbofan - MegaFlow 100. I already own a Wolfbox G900 dash cam that I use as a digital rearview mirror and reviewed that here a year or so ago. Wolfbox asked me if I would post a review of this new product here if they sent me one. I agreed and they sent this to me for free with only the promise that I would post a review.
The unit is well package and I may keep this as all the attachments have a neat home cut out in the foam.
This picture shows all the attachments, a holder pouch and 2 brushes for cleaning. One is a soft bristle and the other is a harder bristle. I put a typical hand utility knife in the picture to show the size of the unit. The are 5 different nozzles that easily detach and attach with a simple twist. They snap into place so you know it is locked in and will not fall off.
This is a larger picture of the unit and you can see the battery indicator lights at the bottom. You will see “THERE ARE FOUR LIGHTS !!!”. Extra credit if anyone gets the reference. ?
This is just a picture next to a can of air. I used to buy these by the 3 pack at a Sams Club and tried to use them sparingly. They do not last long so I hated to use them up quickly. At just under about $5 - $6 a can I only used them when I had to. No more though as this Wolfbox MegaFlow will get used on a regular basis.
On the back of the unit is a power button and you simply hold it for a second to turn it on. It has 3 power levels and starts at full power (3). Press the button again and it will go down to 2 power, and again for 1 power. I would say that the can of air is similar to power level 2 on this unit. 1 is for lighter delicate work. Trigger in the front.
Level 3 is a whole different ballgame. This thing can really blast and I used it to blow out my garage. There will be better ways to get this done but this little powerhouse can do it.
Level 1 and 2 for regular electronics, blowing out the computers and air vent fins. More delicate items.
Level 3 for blasting out the dust in the F-150.
This really is a wonderful thing and If I get 2+ years out of it I will save on the cost of canned air. I usually use 2-3 three packs of air a year. Now I will have something more powerful and can use it more regularly.
As you can tell by the expression on the old Possums face, he’d like to get one to blow out his hole under the shed.
