ThanksWhile I have no experience with either of those brands of tint, I did have my windows tinted about a month ago with 3M Ceramic IR and I am having it replaced under warranty next week. Apparently many ceramic tints are prone to what is called "low angle haze" which, when looking from inside the vehicle, causes the windows to look cloudy when the sun is at low angles. That is what the ceramic tint I had looked like and it was constantly bothering me every time I got in my truck. Instead of taking a chance on a different ceramic tint, I am now just going to have the basic obsidian tint installed. Just wanted to warn you about something I wish I knew before having the ceramic tint installed. Keep us posted.
Just to add to this, it is actually rare in our experience that this happens. Now there is always margin for error but especially with 3M, they are usually on the ball with their quality. We have been a 3M certified shop for the last 35+ years. This is just our experience though. While I have no experience with either of those brands of tint, I did have my windows tinted about a month ago with 3M Ceramic IR and I am having it replaced under warranty next week.
