What is this "hook"on the lower dash with 40/20/40 seating???

I bought a replacement blanket from a guy on Etsy. Has anyone removed the hook? I’d like to remove it without breaking it. I’ll give to anyone that wants it.

You have to pop out the little USB panel and then the panel on the right-hand side.

You will need to push in the prongs on the inside holding the hook in.

Start on the right hand side because it is harder to reach. You'll have to us a screw driver or something to push the tabs in. I used a long allen wrench and was able to us the short side to get both tabs at once. As your pushing on the tabs with your chosen tool. You need to use one of those trim removal tools to apply slight pressure from the outside. Once you hit the prongs, one side will pop out. You can then get your finger on the other side of the prongs through the whole on the left (little USB pannel you popped out). Pull gently as your pushing on the tabs and it will pop right out.

Im afraid using brute force to just pull it out might break the tabs.
